Wine 10.5 is out now as the latest development release of the Windows compatibility layer that will eventually release as Wine 11 next year. This release brings new features and bug fixes.

Highlights include:

  • Support for larger page sizes on ARM64.
  • Mono engine updated to version 10.0.0.
  • Pairing support in the Bluetooth driver.
  • Vulkan H.264 decoding.
  • %GS register swapping on macOS.
  • Various bug fixes.

Some of the bug fixes include improvements for running on Apple M1 hardware, a fix for Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons, Rally Trophy, Microsoft Edge, alt+tab keyboard input being lost, Game Controllers panel crashing on exit and more.
