I don't entirely get why, but Steam on Ubuntu 16.04 will complain that the Steam package is out of date. The way to solve it is a little annoying, but it works.

7 Days to Die recently released Alpha 14, and with it came broken graphics for Linux gamers. The developers are asking for logs to help them narrow down what's causing it. It sounds very familiar to me.
