The latest entry in the Borderlands series has been released in the Americas today. Unfortunately the rest of the world will have to wait a few days before getting their hands on the game.
The developers of Reflex have pulled the plug on their Kickstarter campaign, as it's unrealistic that the goal still can be achieved (10 days left, 81k/360k pledged). The project won't be abandoned though, as it has been greenlit on Steam and is being prepared for Early Access. If Linux support is still on their list is questionable.

There has to be a conspiracy of some sort against us. I believe someone somewhere is deliberately trying to ruin our productivity by unleashing a storm of awesome games that we (at least I) get hooked on. Here's one of them: Borderlands 2!
Counter Strike: Global Offensive was recently released for Linux gamers to much fanfare, but the client was a little on the flaky side. Thankfully as we know Valve support their games very well and have just put out a new update to improve it for us.
Borderlands: The Pre-sequel has not only opened up pre-orders for Linux, but it seems it will have a same-day Linux release. This follows on from the fact that Borderlands 2 has just received a Linux release.
Reflex is a competitive Arena FPS that combines modern tech with the speed, precision and freedom of a 90s shooter. It may become for Quake what UT is for the Unreal series.
The game just went on kickstarter and Linux is on their list!
Great news to wake up to this morning folks! On the official Counter Strike blog the developers noted work about the Linux client for the newest iteration of the Counter Strike franchise.
Remember when Randy Pitchford of Gearbox told us not to get our hopes up? Then Borderlands: The Pre-sequel was confirmed for Linux? Well he's a funny guy as Borderlands 2 is now showing signs of coming over to Linux anyway. UPDATED
Metro: Last Light Redux has been updated on the SteamDB to include some Linux information, so it seems the developers are working on getting it sorted.
