Brace yourself, games are coming. Steam Greenlight has been officially closed as of today and Valve has announced Steam Direct will launch on June 13th.

Setting itself apart from the majority of visual novels by focusing on the player’s sense of hearing, BlindQuest: The Prison will also be coming to Linux if greenlit. There’s a short concept demo available too.

VEKTOR 2089, a retro inspired fast-paced racer is planning to come to Linux, I think it looks great and it needs a boost on Steam Greenlight.

If fighting hordes of enemies with fancifully implausible-but-shooty ranged and melee weapons is what you desire in life, Woodpunk might satiate the need. The developers have recently announced Linux support and are looking for enough votes on Greenlight to proceed.

'Disturbed' is a free visual adventure that was released some months ago, which got a lot of favorable reviews from Steam users. Because of this, the single developer behind the game announced, only a few weeks after its release, that there would be a sequel. And now the Steam Greenlight page is finally live.

NEXT JUMP: Shmup Tactics sounds like an interesting game. It's done in the style of old shoot 'em up games, but turned into a turn-based strategy. A tactical shoot 'em up, if you will.

The open source racer SuperTuxKart is aiming to get on Steam before Greenlight is closed, so be sure to give it a vote.

A new version of The Dark Mod has been released. The new version provides a new introductory map, updated and improved assets, bug fixes and some performance improvements.

The developers of Eternum emailed in to let us know that their pretty good looking platformer will have Linux support. They are looking to get some Steam Greenlight votes.

Valve have finally announced what they suggested they would do at the first SteamDevDays, Greenlight is being thrown out. It will be replaced by 'Steam Direct', which may still require a payment from developers.

Another good game project that could use some help in the way of your votes: The Dark Mod. The developers are wanting to get the game onto Steam through Greenlight.

Here's one I've not heard of before! Quetoo (originally Quake2World), a free and open source FPS that's currently in Beta is asking for votes on Steam Greenlight.

Shortly after reaching the milestone of one million downloads on December 12th, 2016, the single developer of Ravenfield announced that a paid version of the game is being prepared, and right now a Steam Greenlight page is already up.

Dead Cells, a 2D roguelike and castlevania-inspired action-platformer was emailed in by Sintineddu and wow, the art in this one is fantastic.

Wrongworld, the game that won me over with a totally silly trailer has now been greenlit, so it will be coming to Linux on Steam.

The developer of Solaroids: Prologue tweeted out to let everyone know that the indie arcade/action shooter will be coming to Linux. The developer is using FNA for the port and doing it themselves.

Way back in 2014, Valve were approving games from Greenlight in batches. In one particular batch the game 'Northern Shadow' came up on my radar as a very promising looking RPG. Sadly though, it has officially ceased development.

I like survival games, but often I find them hard to get into. Wrongworld looks like it will make that rather easy, as it just looks so damn funny.

I discovered 'Mugsters' recently and after watching the trailer I feel like I just have to play it. It looks downright hilarious.
