The Escapists isn’t a game I’ve played before, since the first game isn’t on Linux (yet), but The Escapists: The Walking Dead is now on Linux and our friends at GOG sent me a key.

PULSAR: Lost Colony, a spaceschip co-op game which was kickstarted on October 31st 2013 has now arrived on Steam Early Access after publication of the second beta version.

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is a 1-2 coop space shooter, exactly my type of game and thanks to GOG we have a copy to test.

With all the big titles coming to Linux, it is easy to miss the smaller ones. You do not always want to invest hours of your life building an empire or engaging in epic quests. Sometimes you just want to blast some alien bugs for a few minutes while your coffee is brewing. The game I am looking into today lets you do exactly that.

Absolute Drift was mailed in by a user (thanks), and having given it a go it’s one of the weirdest experiences I have ever had.

Nomad Fleet developed by Autarca is a one-man indie strategy game that combines elements from FTL, Homeworld and even Battlestar Galactica into a single package. You command the remnants of the humanity on a quest to find an ancient jump gate to escape a mysterious alien race known as Xenos.

Starship Rubicon instantly captured my interest with its mix of space combat, visuals from NASA, and the promise of gameplay like FTL, only you pilot your ship directly.

Minor Key Games have released their political thriller Neon Struct: Die Augen Der Welt on Steam. The game sends you into a neon-coloured surveillance state that has its sights on you. Stealth and diversion are your only weapons against those trying to capture and silence you.

Hero of the Kingdom is a nice looking casual RPG, and the Linux release is almost upon us. The developers took to their Steam forum to keep everyone informed.

TowerFall Ascension has been given the gift of DLC and DRM free treatment on GOG.com. The Dark World Expansion pushes TowerFall further in every direction, a great excuse to revisit the beloved indie fighter.

The squad-based World War I multiplayer FPS Verdun is finally out of Early Access after around a year and a half of development. The game launched with a brand new map and a roadmap for future content.

The space exploration simulator Kerbal Space Program has lauched out of Early Access with the 1.0 release which brings more science, parts and ways to blow up our rockets.

Storm United is a new first person shooter built in Unreal Engine that looks absolutely stunning. The developers have just released the game into early access, and we have some keys to help boost the player count.

War for the Overworld does look like a good spiritual successor to the old Dungeon Keeper games, but it seems it has a way to go yet.

Don't Starve Together is the official multiplayer version of the excellent survival game Don't Starve, and it will get the original Reign of Giants expansion now too as a free update.

It's so damn good to see Humble back on form with a true Humble Indie Bundle, we just gained access to new games too!

Out There: Ω Edition is a really nice space exploration game with zero combat. It impressed me during the beta, and the final release is now available.

Well, I was writing up both Outlast & Shadow warrior, then I checked my twitter feed and...dayam! Outlast & Shadow warrior are both now on Linux and in the brand new Humble Indie Bundle 14, what a day!

The developers of Isbarah kindly sent in a testing key of their intriguing looking action platformer now it’s on Linux, so I took a look and gave it a run.

Well I never thought I would include "hip-hop" in a title here, but mission complete. Luckslinger is a fun looking platformer fused with sweet hip-hop vibes and a western theme.
