Red Phoenix Studios recently released Laservasion, a retro inspired arcade styled shoot 'em up with Linux support. It's pretty darn colourful once you get into it.
Laservasion is the next game from Red Phoenix Studios (prev. Poly Towns, A New World: Kingdoms), a shoot 'em up that resembles the classic Asteroids only it seems to get a lot more intense.
Risk System doesn't seem to have gained much attention, a shame really since as far as shoot 'em ups go it's fantastic and at least tries to be a little different.
I will admit, I almost missed Risk System thinking it's just another retro-looking shoot 'em up but upon closer inspection it actually looks and sounds pretty damn good.
