- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing (the difference between Nine and CSMT is impressive, but game sometime hangs/crashes)
The GOG version comes with a native OpenGL renderer, AFAIR. But maybe it's just included in the "Final Cut", idk.

The OpenGL renderer is available also in the "plain" version, but is very slow compared to the Directx9 on the same graphical settings (and same machine, of course)

Thanks for the info! I didn't try the d3d9-renderer yet because I was assuming that the OpenGL renderer would be faster. I'm gonna give it a try when Mesa 13 has been finally released.

Just tried "The Last Remnant": wow, works better than on Windows 10! It starts windowed (same on Windows) then you can set resolution to FullHD and max everything, works like a charm! It's a pity I don't have a gamepad, because controls are tailored on a xbox 360 controller.

Can someone please try "Dragon Age: Origins" with Gallium Nine? The game works like a charm for the first chapter, then when you access the Ostagar fortress, the textures become corrupted (checkered green), the air of the NPC disappears and the game usually crashes.
I have a savefile with a reproducible crash.
Disabling Nine and using only CSMT fixes the problem, with a sensible performance loss.

My system is nearly the same as manero666:

Manjaro + Deepin
Wine Gaming Nine 1.9.22 from AUR
Mesa 13.0.0, LLVM 3.9.0, Xorg 1.18.4, radeonsi
CPU AMD A10-7850K
AMD Radeon HD 7850 1GB
16GB Ram

No your cpu is considerably more slower than mannerov

If him have Xeon E3 1245 (however him dont clarify if xeon is socket 1155 or upper)

If is first generation (sandy bridge core) could be this:

http://ark.intel.com/products/52274/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E3-1245-8M-Cache-3_30-GHz

Stock 3.30ghz and 3.70ghz in turbo mode

Is more or less equivalent to core i7 2600

Back to cpu performance leave this test for courtesy of cpu world

When you use wine (CSMT or Not) higher frecuency with higher ipc is highly recomended

And amd bulldozer derivated (aka kaveri in your case) have many design failures, for example lower ipc per core, fpu shared, higher latencies in memory cache L2 and L3

However maybe next year zen improve before mentionated problems

Back to gpu side your gpu is considerably more slower than mannero use

Leave this specs for courtesy of gpu database

Radeon HD 7850

https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/1055/radeon-hd-7850

Radeon R9 380

https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2734/radeon-r9-380

Back to capabilities have this:

1024 shaders in radeon HD 7850 vs 1792 shaders in R9 380

64 tmus in radeon HD 7850 vs 112 tmus in radeon R9 380

Rops quantity (32) are same in both models

Around 150gb/s of memory bandwidth in radeon HD 7850 vs around 170gb/s in R9 380

However R9 380 consume around 190w considerably more than radeon hd 7850 with around 130w

Back to problem you must report problem nine git for them can resolve this problem

^_^

You are right on everything, I know that I should file a bug report, but before doing that I prefer that someone else could confirm my problem.
