Hi,
I want to try out my first Game in Vulkan. This should be Serious Sam Fusion 2017 (Serious Sam 3 BFE). But I have a Problem to start up with Vulkan. I explained in the steam Forum, but I think so to got no reply yet.

Have you installed the "vulkan-utils"? At least under Ubuntu with a nVidia GPU they are all that was necessary to get several Vulkan games to run.

Thank you for your reply. I installed the "vulkan-utils". They were not installed already, but that was not the solution for my current error. Its The same in the sam log:

[...]
23:02:31 ERR: Cannot set requested display mode 0x0: GfxAPI error:
23:02:31 ERR: Vulkan error: No physical devices attached!
[...]

Maybe another solution ?

Since you're on an AMD GPU you need to make sure you have up to date Mesa drivers.

I have the 17.1.2 Mesa Driver from the ubuntu ppa ubuntu-x-swat/updates. Also installed the "mesa-vulkan-drivers". Are they up to date enough ?
