I want it to get noticed, so please vote it up if you think it's helpful. If you're not bothered by it, by all means ignore this request.
I wouldn't normally do such a request, but their complete lack of attention to the Linux version is quite incredible. Caves are so utterly broken I cannot bring myself to play it.
Every single reply to it so far, has made a snipe about having an "incompatible OS", so I've been deleting them.

Despite all the issues on linux, I think ark still is among the top 10 games for linux released this decade.

don't get me wrong i love this game and have ~400 hours of it under linux and i somewhat accepted that its glitchy as its early access still, but if that stays when they release the game, thats not acceptable clearly!

"If I hadn't been given the game as a gift I wouldn't be buying it in it's current state & to those people scoffing at Linux as a gaming platform have you seen some of the GOOD games that have been released by competent developers & porters, Feral Interactive, Aspyr & VP I'm looking in your direction, Linux is a viable gaming platform, it's fast catching Windows & will surpass it in the near future. Ark developers sort yourselves out. "

"Jeez guys, who cares if somebody else chooses to use Linux. Does it affect you in any way whatsoever? The game does support Linux, SteamOS **IS** Linux!
Also, while your at it do a little research. The vast majority of websites run on Linux servers, and developers like myself tend to prefer Linux. If you use an Android phone, guess what... YOU ARE USING LINUX! In addition, gaming is getting better and better on Linux every day. I've got some great AAA titles that run flawlessly on my Linux PC.
I hope the developer looks into some of the reported issues. Seems like a really cool game."

It's not salty, it just states what the problems are.
I have a positive recommendation in dutch, with a footnote that due to the price increase I would suggest linux users to really think about it as it is not worth that price tag, while for windows users absolutely recommending it. Maybe I hate windows users that much 8-D. Jk... I love the game so much I can live with most of the glitching, although I've never wandered far into a cave due to the blinding.
But I love that you want to take action and that you don't resort to salty name calling. Can we somehow take that action further without someone destroying the credibility with "WC are loosers, they need to learn to program, and I can program this within a year without bugs" like 5 out of 6 replies in the main thread on steam? Yes, those are the same salty ass heads that say that it's our fault for running linux ;-).

Why these very relaxed dates?
Experiencing the same with Divinity, the developers were outright over their heads to make the game work in time of release. After that they were doing release patches and vacation.
After the vacation the story was very bad: they could not get it to work anymore but the rework of the game should have all support. So about 2 years after the real release there was a good working version.
Anyway: these release+2 months is the time they need to clear their heads and make an official statements. That official statement is when I start rejoicing or start mudslinging :-).
In the end: I have gotten my money's worth from the game already, so I have no real need to sling mud.
