Touching these 16 cores with my bear hands already makes me shiver.
Her Brain consists of 32GB @3600ghz and it blows up my brain of how intelligent she is.
Her Green eyes ,OMG!!! I really fall in love just looking at her @11GB boost core @1759ghz
Her soft hands are so sensitive but she is really fast she can do works @ R/W (read/write) speeds up to 3,500/2,100 MB/s and random R/W speeds up to 440/360K... so impressive!!! :))
Oh well…. Locking up the bedroom door… cya in a couple of years…..!!!

Well yes that is the plan even though some people said--> "you will have lag issues" , "is not worth it" , "you will see no difference" etc
But unless I try it and see it with my own eyes I don't believe any theories :P
Motherboard dosent support to raid the 2x 960 PRO so software raid mdadm is all the way to go.
I just finished assembling the PC but Threadripper is really HOT.
Even with a Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3 and ultra cool airflow I managed to get the CPU temperature to 58C degree on Idle.
Well I guess I have to order a water cooling just for Threadripper :'(
I havent installed Linux yet , thinking to go with EXT4 , some said BTRFS and other said ZFS... X
For me so far EXT4 was the most reliable file system and didnt have any problems but on NAS I am using BTRFS.

Cool, love to hear about some R/W drive benchmarks with that setup.
Meanwhile, I've been installing Ryzens at work, and people are loving the performance. Ryzen 5 1600 (6c 12t) overclock from 3.2GHz default to 3.6GHz on the Wraith cooler, no problem. Also for gaming, you want to balance clock-speed with number of cores. Too many cores and you have to go with a lower clock-speed, and too many (current) games benefit from one strong single core.
