Ahh thanks mmm mine are kind of old dishonoured and red faction guerilla. mmm I can bebind as long aslong as the directions are correct shall test it out.
EDIT if your controls are reversed and you cant recalibrate in game use this http://www.generalarcade.com/gamepadtool/ it works perfectly
Imho I still consider xboxdrv a better option than x360ce, even just because it's simpler to setup on a wine-Win64 architecture. I've used it for The Witcher 3 and Dark Souls Remastered, and it looks like a very lean and clean solution.

You do not need to make any configuration. In games, the controller is seen as Xbox Controller and you do not need to have any mappings. Force feedback also works correctly.
I tested it in:
1. Lego star wars the force awakens (2 players, original xbox 360 controller and second controller whos clone)
2. Lego star clone wars (2 players, original xbox 360 controller and second controller whos clone)
3. Lego jurassic park (2 players, original xbox 360 controller and second controller whos clone)
4. The Crew
5. beamng.drive
6. Need for speed undercover
It used to be the case for my Xbox 360 controller too. On Arch, having xbxdrv installed, wine doesn't recognise the controller at all. Nor with x360ce or dumbxinput (https://github.com/kozec/dumbxinputemu)
Will give this a go!

No dice.
I couldn't get my Logitech F310 gamepad to work in games like Lego Harry Potter/Batman/Star wars with wine/wine-staging > v1.9.x.

My configuration is (linux Gentoo):
1. Wine Staging 3.13, compiled with SDL support
2. Main pad is xbox 360, second is GENESIS PV58, both use the driver xpad (kernel 4.14.52-gentoo)
With this configuration, the gamepad is seen by Wine. I can test it in
wine control
Most games work correctly. In some games I have to configure the mapping. In the Lego games on the screen I see hints like "BUTON 1", etc. After runing the KoKuToru/koku-xinput-wine, the game seen the controller as xbox in Windows and everything has been worked with the default mappings, in Lego, I see hints like "Blue" X, "Red" B etc.
I have been using koku-xinput-wine since wine 2.2x. I tested with other pads (PS 2 clones) and xboxdrv - work correctly.
I have finished all the mentioned Lego games with my child (currently we are finishing Jurassic Park).

I have that pad and my post on general arcade works with that no problem

Well, I've meanwhile figured out that a couple of libraries (DLL overrides) caused the problem and was now able to get at least LEGO Harry Potter working again. But I'm not able to get LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga to work with the controller in XInput mode. When I switch to DInput mode LEGO Star War is working but both characters are controlled at the same time.
I've read already that there probably is a solution to this but I think it involves installing additional libraries.
