wheel takes some time to get used to i guess. but if you had wheel already shouldn't be too long to get used to new one.
if you wanna try my settings:
pkexec ltwheelconf --wheel DFGT --nativemode --range 540
notify-send "Logitech DFGT Range changed to 540 degrees" -t 4000 -i messagebox_info
ingame i have 45% saturation and -3 linearity, rest is default
also polkit rule to not having to use sudo on the ltwheelconf changes
xpander@arch ~ $ cat /usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.archlinux.pkexec.ltwheelconf.policy
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

My Wales was a bit of a mess. I think I did one relatively clean stage, and that only because I drove really slowly. Lots of spins, a few rolls and off road adventures, and some penalties to boot.
I had fun though. The game ran smooth as butter with my new GPU.
EDIT: @Xpander, Congrats on your Win. You really set the bar high. I very much enjoy trying to beat you.

This is great! Thanks for this - I sort of assumed the G920 would carry the same settings as I'd used for the DFGT, but it has its own set, so returned everything to defaults - I couldn't remember what I'd set the wheel range or saturation at - and couldn't remember if I was using positive or negative linearity. Your settings are certainly pretty near to what I was using - though there's quite a different "feel" to the wheel in a lot of places, which will still take some getting used to (i.e. the pedal stiffness is very different, for example).
It turns out the mistake I had with controlling was I'd changed the wheel from 900 to 540, but left the saturation as it was, and it ended up massively over-sensitive. Anyway, all sorted now :)
Anyway, thanks so much for this, and thanks again for running these tournaments.
