CS:GO Input delay?
soberlols Sep 14, 2019
Hi folks,

Is there a way to fix input delay in CS:GO running on Linux? I'm getting good FPS around 300, but the input delay makes it nearly unplayable. It's really noticeable when playing with an AWP. I'm also experiencing some 'microlag' even tho my FPS is stable.

Does anyone have experience with a solution to this problem? Is it possible to fix?

My specs:
Kali Linux
I7-9700k @ 4.8GHz
16GB DDR4 @2666MHz
GTX 1650

Did you find out more about this?

One thing that reduces input lag is increasing the usb poll rate, you can read how to do that here (even if you don't have arch): https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mouse_polling_rate

Another tip is not using Kali Linux, it's not really meant for daily use. It's a pentester's tool, not a daily driver.
