My gamepad has a loose joint. Can someone explain how to set up the dead zone and maximum deviation range in xboxdrv? (need a dead zone of about 30% and a maximum range of 25000)

I gave up on xboxdrv after reading this:

I am sorry because that's probably not the answer you expected, but that post helped me and it may help others. There's a lot of obsolete information about xboxdrv around that causes confusion.

I don't own an xbox gamepad, so I was looking for the remap features. Now I'm using the SDL2 Gamepad Tool, with pretty good results so far.

Thank you, but unfortunately the SDL2 Gamepad Tool does not allow you to customize the behavior of the sticks.
