Castle Vox is a next generation strategy wargame. Capture all the enemy Castles to win!
Myriad Maps
Maps from many eras and mythologies. Play on historical, geometric, geographic, and fantasy settings. New maps get added all the time, and can be one-click installed using the built-in Map Manager.
Same-Time Turns
No waiting while other players make their moves. Everyone plans their moves at the same time. When planning is finished, all battles are resolved simultaneously. Finish an epic game in half an hour.
Teams
Collaborate with teammates to conquer your enemies. Jointly occupy continents to earn their bonuses. Secret team chat in multi-player modes.
Challenging Artificial Intelligence
Computer AI will give your brain a good workout.
Online Multi-Player
Fast real-time multi-player games. Or play slower once-a-day turns games. The network game tracker lists them all. Host your own server.
Axis & Allies meets Diplomacy
Castle Vox is an homage to these classic strategy boardgames.

Another good find, it's nice to see this one do it a bit different where you can have different style maps on it like world war or Napoleonic Wars, all others i've seen like this (theres hundreds) all look boring, nice to see one break the mold!
As always good find!
I ran across this earlier today, Think I will pick it up.

Nice game, tried it - but it's to "more of the same".
You got only 2 unit types and the diplomacy aspect is resolved before the game starts, you cannot betrayal your allies and make peace with the one you attack.
It's a nice game, but I think it will get boring fast.
On the other hand I would love a game like Warlords 2,3 (and I am aware of the FOSS projects).
