Does the Itch client work on Steam Deck?

I get most of my proprietary games from either Steam or Itch. Liam already did a breakdown of how the Epic store and GOG work on the deck, but I can't find anything about the Itch desktop client. I presume even if the client doesn't work it will still be possible to run the games themselves, although it might be more annoying.
