Ruiner - No cutscenes working
Mezron Dec 26, 2022
Hi all,

For Xmas my kids got me copy of Ruiner on GOG (btw gift giving on GOG is trash if the person does not have a GOG account). I played this and loved it back when it dropped on my kid's Steam account. They moved out and I'm not interested in having a Steam account.

The game plays fine except for the cutscenes, I just get a white screen.

I'm on POP OS and my specs should be on the signature here on GOL forums if needed.

I'm hoping I can get this fixed pretty soon because my patience for game fixing is very small but I really don't want to refund this as it was a gift. My eldest sometimes shares with me their survival run score screenshots and I was hoping to diving in and do a little leaderboarding with them.

I'm not sure if this is the same issue but it looks like earlier versions of the game where missing dependencies for some libraries like libgsm, libwavpack libopus and others:

Thanks. Look like I will put in a for a refund this is just too much work for me. The Switch version works excellent under Yuzu.
