Dick Trickle at the track ready to race…….
After a nice shakedown and feeling good about the car Dick Trickle started qualifying…….. But all was not as well and he thought as he could only manage to get into 8th position in qualifying……. Thats puts him starting 4th in Heat 2……..

Dick Trickle lined up ready to start Heat 2…...
After making a wedge adjustment to make the car turn better during the break…….. The 5 lap Heat 2 race started……. Dick managed to get a good start and pushed his way up the inside of turn 1 as is the standard Dick move at the start of the race…….. The car was turning much better after the wedge adjustment and Dick was able to easily hold onto 3rd but was nowhere near fast enough to challenge the Erik Truet or Jeff Fulton……. So Dick would be starting in 6th position in the A Main…….

Heat 2 Results…….
Dick forgot to take a screenshot of the results screen because hes a moron….. So this one will have to do…...
For the 56 lap A Main race Dick made a slight rear wing adjustment hoping to get just a tad more speed out of the car……. As the green flag dropped there was a fair bit of bumping and banging going on and Dick was right in the middle of it….. As he usually is…… Dick used his ridged body work to poke his way past Ted Finger on the first first lap and was in hot pursuit of Matthew Kato for 4th……
Feeling the pressure of Dick from behind….. Kato made a wild move on a lapped car and it did not pay off as Kato spun and hit the wall hard….. "Wow..... what a Lick!"...... what heard over the PA system as Matthew took himself out of 4th place……. Trickle was able to avoid the spinning Kato and take the place…….
Dick Trickle was unable to catch the guys in front but was also able to hold off championship leader Josh Ginter……. Ginter was able to rub up against the side of Dick……. But Trickle was able to push hard and run Ginter down the inside of the track and onto the grass apron causing Ginter to spin out with 12 laps left…….
Dick slides up into 2nd place in the 2002 Dirt Series Championship standings……

Lee Corso picking the Fresno State Bulldogs to beat the Boise State Broncos……..
Its getting to the end of the regular season…… with just 3 games left the Boise State coach is constantly keeping his team grounded and letting them know that they need to keep their perfect record if they want any hope of going to the National Championship……
The Fresno State Bulldogs are another WAC Conference rival for the Boise State Broncos…… And this is yet another really important game for them…….. They are already guaranteed a Conference Championship Game and a Bowl Game but they are not yet guaranteed a National Championship birth……..
After Boise State won the toss they elected to receive the ball first……….. They got off to a great start as Steve Austin ran the ball up the gut and bulldozed his way over the defensive line…… To score an early touchdown for the Broncos…….
The defence was again keeping up their end of the bargain as they got 3 interceptions in the 1st quarter…….. Allowing the Broncos to get a commanding early lead…… As Austin was bulldozing his way through the Bulldogs with ease…….. Racking up some really important rushing stats as he battles his teammate QB #11 for the Heisman Trophy…….
The defence also forced 2 fumbles in the 2nd quarter…….. And the Broncos went into the sheds at half time leading 63-0…….
The coach was very happy at half time and was urging both the offence and the defence to not let up at all and keep their foot on their opponents throat…….
The team listened to the coach as the 2nd half was no better for the Bulldogs as they struggled on both sides of the ball and had zero answers to the Boise State intensity……..
The Bulldogs could only manage a consolation touchdown and a field goal very late in the 4th quarter to get thoroughly beaten 104-10…..
The coach was livered that the defence let in late points after urging them to keep it a shutout during the half time talk……..
Steve Austin finished the game with 9 rushing touchdowns and 6 receiving touchdowns…… In what was another dominating performance…….. And with 2 games left in the regular season Austin is locked in a fierce competition with his own teammate QB #11 for the Heisman Trophy……...

A sequel usually adds new features and expands upon the first game…… Shock Troopers: 2nd Squad does the opposite and removes features left and right……. 8 characters down to 4……. 3 routes down to 1.5…… Number of weapons are down……… Even the graphics are a downgrade…… Gone is the really nice looking sprite work and in with cartoon like chibi sprites…… Even the storyline is less than before…… And the first game did not have much a storyline……
Its just a real shame that this game was released in this state…….. The first Shock Troopers is a great game…… And this is just a shell of what that game was……. Even the controls have been messed with…… No more calling in another Shock Trooper for double team special moves as the D button is no longer used………
This game is just 1 massive let down……. Its like the games were released in reverse order and that the 1st game should have been released as the sequel…..
The ONLY thing that saves the game is Angel with her little shirt and big…………. Hooters……..
This sums up my feelings on Shock Troopers: 2nd Squad

This Week
As for this upcoming week….. The last few trees need to be trimmed back…… And thats really about it…… I dont think I will be doing much this week…… I do need to take this PC outside and blow it out with the air compressor……… Should be a nice and quiet week……..
As for gaming there will be more hardcore Dick Trickle action in NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona……. Steve Austin will be playing NCAA Football 11….. There will be yet another TMNT game….. I swear they never end..…… And most probably yet another Kirby game…… Another series that seems to never end…...
Well thats it from me…… Have a good week everyone……
Now for my bad joke of the week……
I named my toilet Jim instead of John........ Everyone is so impressed when I tell them I go to the Jim every morning......

I'm now halfway into my Super Bomberman mini-marathon, with this week's installment being Super Bomberman 3 (SNES).
This game is the second title in a trilogy of sorts, which began with Bomberman '94 (PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16), has this one in the middle, and ended with Saturn Bomberman (Saturn, duh ), with the connecting element being the gameplay structure, which only these three titles share, and a matching art-style - instead of having to eliminate all of the enemies in order to complete a stage, you are instead required to blow up beacons which lock the exit to each stage, and are free to leave without defeating all foes or finding all items, which can end up changing up how you play.
In this installment, the Five Dastardly Bombers are resurrected for what will ultimately turn out not to be the final time (we'll see them again at the end of this mini-marathon in Super Bomberman R, where there's a big plot-twist waiting!*), and Louies come to the SNES - we'll be bombing and riding on space-kangaroos all weekend!
*Granted, Super Bomberman R is six years old as of March 3rd, so the twist is not exactly a secret anymore, but that won't stop me from throwing a bit of a flourish into my write-up here.

I 100% Void Scrappers during this week @ work. I like this game a lot. I played Vampire Savior when it was on itch.io via the browser version and enjoyed it.
I reinstalled PPSSPP because my wife wants to try some 2 player 3rd person shooters so right now we are just looking for something in the library that catches our eye.

I dont think ANYTHING could stop you talking about bomberman....... Even when you die you will be at the pearly gates talking about bomberman......

Hahahahaha! Very true!
I hear you. I've seen some excellent moments in it from some top players that are similar to 'The moment'
Stuff like this - https://imgur.com/a/GM13nLO
One player had Tizoc that blocked so well you could only beat him via timer. Kept gaing health like crazy. They were using a hitbox but still it was amazing.
This last game was rando and I got Gato which I'm very weak with but I had a good time and met some ppl that I plan on seeing again for the next one.
VF3tb I did way better with Wolf and Jaky.

While I enjoy fighting games I dont play them often enough to "git gud" at them so nearly every character is weak for me
Nice to see a good Tizoc player..... I do like the "wrestling" characters in fighting games..... Tizok, Zangief and King..... In the other SNK games I tend to do the best with Mai Shiranui.........
I have never tried a Hitbox controller..... And with my lack of rhythm and timing I dont see a hitbox doing well for me...... I couldnt even play the triangle at school my lack rhythm is that bad......
Hopefully once I finish with the TMNT and Kirby never ending marathon I can play more fighting games......
