Opemohaa now has the initial support for the official mods:

NOTE: Both client and server version can be compiled to target Medal of Honor: Spearhead and Medal of Honor: Breakthrough.

I think they start to have weekly releases of Openmohaa, which is great:

v0.54.0-alpha

- ioquake3 backport
- Networking fixes/improvement
- SDL2 support, which means input, rendering and sound improvements
- Better console support (using OS console host, rather than a custom Windows 95 console)
- Rendering improvement: sprite support, light glow support (light coronas), more shaders support, minor fixes, and beam fixes
- Sound improvement: MP3 support + better sound/format support
- Client game: better emitter support, scoreboard fixes, kar98 overlay fix
- UI improvement: using Spearhead/Breakthrough gmbox/dmbox placement + fixed compass scale

I know that Openmohaa isn't finished yet, and many users don't have the CD with the version for Windows.

For testing purposes, you can buy the Medal of Honor: Allied Assault War Chest during the GOG Summer Sale 2023.

In this case, you don't spend too much money on a game that doesn't have the support for a single-player campaign yet.

I would like to inform you that Openmohaa 0.56.0-alpha is available for Linux:

What's Changed

- There is now a single executable to play on mohaa, moh_spearhead or moh_breakthrough servers, by starting openmohaa with +set com_target_game x commandline (check README)
- Client tweak: disconnect menu now working correctly
- Client-game tweaks: bullets, bullet trails, emitters, explosions, marks, model attachment, special effects, viewmodel anim
- Rendering tweaks: fog, font, dynamic lights, shader fade, sprite, trees
- UI tweaks: compass fully working
- Various crash fixes and minor fixes

I would like to inform you that Openmohaa 0.57.0-alpha is available for Linux:

What's Changed
Renderer:
- Sphere lights are now rendered for entities
- Light grid support for mohta and mohtt
- Light grid is now calculated for sphere lights (entity lighting)
Game/Fgame:
- Support for a flag that allow leaning while moving (mohta and mohtt)

I would like to inform you that Openmohaa 0.58.1-alpha is available for Linux:

Most changes were server-related:

- It's now possible to browse servers using the UI
- Features from mohaas and mohaab were ported to
openmohaa:
- Animated farplanes
- Bullets through wood/metal
- Smokes
- Sprint
- Compass radar (icon of teammates on the compass)
- Landmines
- Tug-of-War and Liberation game types
- ...
- Training map works
- The script engine should now be fully compatible with
mohaa scripts
- Multiplayer bot support
- Fixed bugs, and crashes
