Checking Unity's DRM/Analytics?

How can a person verify if their unity game is doing something underhanded in terms of DRM and analytics?

Look at the network traffic with wireshark?

I would guess that most (or even all) unity games use analytics. For single player games you can block network access for the process via unshare -rn or firejail.

Are you a developer or just a customer ? I ask because if you're a developer and are truly worried about this it's a good reason to use a FOSS engine instead.

Nah just an aging arcade gamer :)

I just dumped a lot of unity games because doing the work of stopping them from phoning home has me exhausted.

Been loading up on Pico-8 games lately and playing old fighters at bars and locals.
