There is a retro event coming up next weekend. A lot of my circle is attending. There is an after LAN party being formed and one of the games on the menu is NeverWinterNights.
Awhile back I picked it up direct from BeamDog. Part of it was due to the wonderful article that was covered here where the older versions was given out with the HD patch. So I wanted to support it back then just for that. This is very rare of me but I just wanted to help encourage more devs to take this route for older releases.
During the communication I was informed to have the Steam or BeamDog version to connect with others.
So far the BeamDog client does not work at all. I also have no method to download the binary of that BeamDog offers that is not the older version anywhere on the site.
Does anyone else mess with Beamdog? It's rare I support modern games (I know it's old but I mean non-physical copes of a game) and I feel foolish doing so this time.
Cheers,
