Quoting: KlaasThere's the article that you linked, a different page that links (https://pacman.fandom.com/wiki/History_of_Pac-Man_clones_and_bootlegs/AtGames_systems.

The connection to Zaccaria Pinball is that AtGames pays the developers to recreate tables exclusively for them instead of working on their own game.

So regarding commercial Pinball games, AtGames is unfortunately as annoying as Embracer. And their actions regarding arcade games is not nice either.
Ugh, I just knew that it'd be to do with them. AtGames makes some really awful hardware, too.

Quoting: KlaasDo you have the Steam version of Sonic 1/2/CD? Unfortunately they have been delisted last year when they released a combined version. There is an engine recreation that is supposed to be better with the older releases – the re-release requires a lot of fiddling and even then the game files do not include the sounds.
Nah, I don't have those. I still have the original cartridges and CD and just emulate rips of those - I'm not big on remakes/recreations the vast majority of the time, so for me this is sometimes the best way to get the original experience.

Quoting: StoneColdSpiderI hope thats the answers your question well enough
It certainly does - thanks very much! That's one hell of a paradigm-shift, right there!

The 2600 stuff in particular makes me feel very nostalgic; When I was a youngster I had a friend with an Atari 2600 Jr., and I fondly remember visiting so that we could play Mario Bros. together.

No problems...... And yes the jump from 2600 H.E.R.O. to full "3D" Quake II was absolutely massive......
