I went to a retro event this weekend and played a lot of Garou: Mark of the Wolves. While traveling I've been playing Vita Fighters on the phone and now on my newly made Steam account. That game and also Hall of Torement have been my most played games lately.

Concerning my annoyance about the delisting of the original Sonic games. There is a SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics bundle on Fanatical where you can still get the delisted Steam games – don't know how many copies are left and the downside is that it is only one key. So I've wasted Sonic 1/2/3D Blast DLC and CD standalone since I already had them. All in all a lot of money spent if I will only use the Sonic 3/Knuckles rom from that collection. We'll see.

The original retro engine releases of 1 and 2 are still free for android – since apk files are just zips, you can get the data.rsdk file from there – only open the archive and remove the .xmf dummy extension.

Sonic Mania (+ DLC both also from Fanatical) decompilation requires a manual compile since all prebuilt versions are very old and lack support for the DLC.

With a bit of fiddling I got all of the RetroEngine versions running natively.

Then I also bought both Showcase Bundle 2 and the BYOB with the remastered Metro Reduxes (only got the original versions before), Grand Mountain Adventure, City of Beats and Gunlocked.

With the expensive Fanatical shopping trip concluded (including free Unity of Command and a free surprise key I haven't looked at yet), I'm going to give GMA the first go.

Any one else bothered that you have to cut purchases into several parts (Showcase 2 first) to get a 5% off discount code to use for the rest?
