Hahaha!
Man, Garfield & Friends was suuuuch a great show. Though, I've always preferred the original theme-song, myself!
Well, there's plenty of room in my collection, so that's ok.
Awesome!
At least not all of them are as utterly dire as the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons. So much e-waste.

I've had a lot of angst regarding executive level as my old memory seems to remember this being where the difficulty really spiked (prolly mostly to drain you of over stocked resources).
I don't remember the chess puzzle from long ago. I played a lot of chess today... I'm really bad at chess... But I eventually got it (after dozens of tries)
Anyhow, I really appreciated your karting write up. I played the Mario Karts on Gamecube and Wii but aside from SuperTuxKart I'm quite clueless to the the PC alternatives.
Mind if we call you Bruce to keep it clear?
Do indulge us sometime. I know how well you spin a good yarn!
I played the TOCA2 demo as a kid, but I was so bad and frustrated with racing games at the the time I mostly drove the opposite way round the track and crashed into the other cars. Kinda went back to the game to redeem myself.
I would like to think I did so with class. The GOG release (of the EE release) had some old fashioned scanned strategy guides and hintbooks I used. It was a joy in itself to read through them.

LOL...... Well this story might show the age gap between us......
Back in 1998...... In geography class at high school...... I ran a footy tipping competition........ (Rugby League..... I was born and raised in Sydney...... We dont follow that crap AFL there....... Iron Chef use to triple the ratings of the AFL in Sydney.......) The teacher even let me have the back wall chalk board to record the tips....... It was 1 Dollarydoo per week to enter and it all went into the prize pool...... It worked out great...... As my geography class was the last class on Friday and the first class on Monday........ So no other class could fuck with the tips on the chalkboard........ At the end the winner got 50% of the prize pool....... Second got 30%........ And third got 20%........ Everyone else got nothing.......
And since I was a walking Rugby League encyclopedia back then...... Seriously I could tell you how many tackles Luke Ricketson got on the weeked or how how many missed tackles Andrew Ettingshausen had or how many hit ups Paul Harragon had or how many offloads Jim Dymock had before I could tell you anything I ever learnt at school.......
I won the tipping competition easily...... And with the money I won...... I bought TOCA Touring Car Championship and Carmageddon for the PC.......
While TOCA 2 is better in nearly every way....... I still love the first TOCA game as it had the awesome looking 1997 yellow and blue Renault Laguna and not the ugly 1998 dark green Nescafe Blend 37 Renault Laguna that was in TOCA 2.....

As for SuperTuxKart, I'm only sorry that I couldn't include it. I've played it before and I feel that it has great potential and some genuinely fab tracks, but the driving just isn't quite there yet, for me, and I know that my relatives wouldn't enjoy it either. It'll just be a matter of time until someone who's able to make a difference to that element of the game steps in to fix that, though, I'm sure.
Thanks for sharing! Sounds like a well spent youth! Well actually, I don't know if I can condone underage gambling, but at least you did ask for permission to use the chalk board... No complaints about how you spent the winnings though!
I fear there's not just an age gap, but a big gap when it comes to taste in liveries too. I do love the emerald green 37, fell in love with it in an instant.
Now Bruce, this was all in high school? I assume you graduated with honors and went straight to the university of Walamaloo to study philosophy?
