G'Day fellow tuxers……. Its Bruce your host here once again…….. Its a sunny Saturday here right now…….……

Was another quiet week……… Did the usual……. Mowed the lawns…… Walked the dog…….. Worked…….

I also harnessed the magical cleaning properties of Pumice to clean the shower this week…… I took the glass door and glass wall off and took them outside to give them a buff using hand wash that contained pumice……. Worked out very well…… Now anyone who looks through the window will able to perfectly see a naked spider showering……. That will stop any peeping toms…….

Dick Trickles Racing Career: Part 33
NASCAR Dirt to Daytona: Part 33
Featherlite Modified Series Season 1: Race 11

Intro music…... Hello and welcome to Left Turn Heaven..... Im Murray Eastlake and today im going to be bringing you all the action from the 2004 Featherlite Modified Series: Round 11 of 11 here at Martinsville Speedway……..

Martinsville Speedway…….

Martinsville Speedway is 0.526 miles long with 12 degrees of banking in the turns….. This track has two long straights with two tight turns at each end which is how got it got the nickname of “The Paperclip”….. You need good horsepower for the straights and a very good handling for the tight turns at each end…… Thanks to its unique shape and narrow width with a short track length…... Martinsville is always known to be the track where anything can happen…… And tempers are always running hot…… Watch out for the chrome horn…….

Its the final round of the 2004 Featherlite Modified Championship…….. Jason Sulivan has one hand on the trophy…… Will be have both hands on it when the chequered flag waves at the end of the day???……

The man trying to stop him is Dick Trickle…… He might be a Featherlite Modified rookie……. But he knows how to race and how to win….. Picking up four wins so far this season and had a few more stolen from him as well…..

Dick is also now a back to back Weekly Dirt Racing Series champion……. So he knows how to win championships as well……

Dick Trickle is 64 points behind Jason Sulivan in the championship standings……. That means Dick needs to win and Sulivan needs to finish thirteenth or worse for Dick to win the championship…….. Meanwhile Jason Sulivan just needs to finish twelfth or better to win the championship……

Looking to spoil the party will be Francis Lee and Joel York who are both racing just for pride this weekend…… And ending the season with a win would do wonders for both of them heading into the off season……

Last years champion William Anderson has had a very good year……. With nine top five finishers in ten races…… But Jason Sulivan and Dick have both has great seasons and that is why William Anderson is out of the championship hunt……. A win would really lift his spirits this weekend…….

Can Jason Sulivan claim the championship or can Dick pull off a miracle and snatch it from Sulivan???…….

Can Francis Lee, Joel York or William Anderson spoil the party and claim the win for themselves???…….

Dont touch the sets...... Dont touch the dials...... You wont want to miss a single moment of the 2004 Featherlite Modified Series....… Practice and qualifying are coming up right now……

Dick Trickle at the track ready to race.…

Dick spent a lot of time is practice getting the Klipsch Modified Flaming Dick Machine dialled in just how he wanted it……… It looks very fast down the straights and also looks to be on rails through the turns……. Jason Sulivan could be in a bit of trouble from what im seeing right now…….

Qualifying was up next……. And Dick proved me right…… As he set a lap time so quick even the event organisers had to go and have a second look at the car to make sure they didnt miss anything…….. And you better believe Jason Sulivan was right there as well hoping they would find something illegal about the car…….

But the car passed yet another technical inspection so Dicks qualifying time stands…….. Dick Trickle will be on pole position with a quite frankly unbelievable time of 19.695…….. He was a monumental 1.9 seconds ahead of Jason Sulivan who was in second with a 21.590……..

Third was Francis Lee who set a time of 22.034……. Followed by Joel York in fourth with a 22.296……… And rounding out the top five was last seasons champion William Anderson who just missed out of fourth with a time of 22.392………

Jason Sulivan is still arguing with the officials about the legality of Dicks car…… Hes absolutely furious that they let the car pass inspection again……. Even though he himself said he cant see anything wrong with the car……. Is the pressure starting to get to Sulivan????…..

Qualifying Results........

Dick Trickle lined up ready to start the race......

Dick led the field to the green flag to start the 100 lap race….. Jason Sulivan got a great start and led the field down the straight to turn one…….. But Dick was much deeper on the brakes and shoved the car deep up the inside of Jason Sulivan to grab back the lead as they exited turn two………

Francis Lee was not far behind as he was trying to follow Dick through and take second place……

William Anderson and Joel York were fight hard over fourth place…. Yet again……. This time Anderson was just edging out York for the time being……

Dick was off into the distance and had a very comfortable lead after just a few laps……. And was also starting to lap cars at that point also……. His car was setup so well and was so poised that he was able to use the whole width of the track to pass cars…….

Jason Sulivan was not having as the same luck……. He got trapped behind a lapped car so badly that Francis Lee was able to snatch second place…….. Then William Anderson and Joel York joined the party and passed Sulivan as well……

Sulivan was down to fifth place in just a matter of moments and was looking real shaky in the early goings of this long race…….

Gary Soros was now all over the back of Jason Sulivan trying to get into fifth place…….. Sulivan nearly lost out to Soros on a number of occasions……… But once he finally made it through the gaggle of cars……. Sulivan was able to gap Soros with ease………

On the 9th lap Dick Trickle lapped Francis Lee to put the entire field one lap down…… Dick was having a superb race…… He looks like a real champion out there…….

On the 16th lap…… Dick came up behind his old friend Luis Rivas…… Dick went to make a move to pass Rivas on the outside but Rivas also moved to the outside this caused Dick to slam into the back of Rivas and spin him around like a Beyblade….

Dick sustained a bit of damage but was able to keep going……. Luis Rivas on the other hand spun into the outside wall hard and then bounced back to the middle of the track and was collected by several other drivers who had nowhere to go……. Rivas was out of the race with terminal damage to the race car…..

Approaching the half way stage and Jason Sulivan had composed himself and was now all over the back of William Anderson who had lost contact with Joel York through the traffic……. Sulivan made a decisive move down the inside through turn three to retake fourth spot….. And now he was after Joel York……

Francis Lee was having a good time in second place……. He was already 5 laps down at the half way point of the race……. But he was keeping up a steady pace and had a good gap back to Joel York……

It took Jason Sulivan 10 laps to catch Joel York but he managed to do it…….. It was clear that Sulivan was much faster so much so that he was able to drive clear around the outside of York through turns one and two to put himself into third place…….

Francis Lee came up to a herd of cars…… And was having trouble navigating his way past them….. Some of the lapped traffic was three cars wide…….. And this allowed Jason Sulivan to cruise up behind him…..

Jason Sulivan made short work on Francis Lee to retake second place……. And was able to start putting on a gap over Lee almost instantly….. As Francis Lee just did not have the raw pace to keep up with Sulivan……

Dick was now entering the final 5 laps and was cruising to a historic victory…….. He had the entire field at least ten laps down in a showing of total and utter domination that will send shockwaves well into next season…… And everyone will be left asking “Who is going to stop Dick next season???……”

As the chequered flag waved for the final time in the 2004 Featherlite Modified Series Championship……. Dick Trickle in the Klipsch Modified Flaming Dick Machine took a historic record breaking win…… The largest margin of victory ever in the Featherlite Modified Series…… TEN LAPS……. Yes you heard that correct…… Dick Trickle won the race by 10 whole laps…….

Second place was Jason Sulivan……. He was ecstatic when he crossed the line………. As he became the 2004 Featherlite Modified Series Champion…… He might have been 10 laps behind the winner…… But he was the champion and at that moment that was all he cared about…….

Francis Lee was third…… In a rather lacklustre race……. He was just not able to keep up with Dick and then was defenceless against Jason Sulivan…… Its going to be a long off season for Lee to work out how to beat the two of them…… He was 11 laps behind the winner…...

Fourth was Joel York who has had a solid year but just like Francis Lee is just missing that little bit extra that would take him to the next level and challenge Jason Sulivan and Dick Trickle…… He was 12 laps behind Dick……

Rounding out the top five was last years champion William Anderson……. Zero wins and ten top five finishes this season is not bad at all…… But he was just nowhere near the level he was last season when he captured the championship……. He is going to have to do a lot of soul searching during the off season to bounce back from this…… William Anderson was also 12 laps behind the winner…….

Race Results..…

Race winner Dick and championship winner Jason Sulivan did massive tandem burnouts down the main straight at the same time….. The tyre smoke bellowed from both cars as the crowed went absolutely nuts……. And rightfully so…. What a race and what a season they have witnessed……

After the burnout celebration Dick made his way to Victory Lane…… With Pussy Galore as always ready to greet him……. I think hes going to get lucky tonight……

I was able to grab Dick for a quick word after he got out of the car……. “44 points Murray……. 44 points short of taking the championship…… I got screwed out of this championship thanks to Luis Rivas…… And he tried to kill me again out there today………”

“That should be me up there with that championship Murray…….. Not Jason Sulivan…… Look at him up there with that stupid smile on his face and his grubby little hands on MY trophy……... Im just pissed off that the wins I was screwed out of cost me the championship……. Jason Sulivan screwed me out of one win…….. Luis Rivas screwed me out of multiple wins……”

“Dicks arnt the ones that should be screwed……… Dicks should be doing the screwing…… And you better believe next season…….. This Dick will be doing a lot of screwing……. And aint no one going to stand in my way……..”

“Now let me tell you something Murray……. Hang on…….. Its the end of the season right???…… The season is officially over now right???……”

I inform Dick that yes the season is now officially over……. And with that Dick stormed off to the paddock area…… With myself…. Pussy Galore and the camera man in hot pursuit……. Dick zeroed on his target…… Luis Rivas….. Dick came up behind Rivas…… Grabbed him on the shoulder and spun him around…….

Dick hurled a bunch of obscenities at Rivas….. “YOU *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*ING *BEEP*…… YOU *BEEP*ING COST ME THE *BEEP*ING CHAMPIONSHIP YOU *BEEP*……… YOU *BEEP*ING ALSO *BEEP*ING TRIED TO *BEEP*ING KILL ME OUT THERE TODAY”……..

And then the two started to push and shove each other……. Dick dropped one more almighty “*BEEP* YOU” bomb before Rivas throws a punch that Dick just managed to duck under……. Dick then put his shoulder into Rivases exposed mid section and drove him back against the wall behind him……. Not letting up Dick penetrates Rivases defence and connects with a few good hard body blows as Rivas is pinned against the wall……. Dick was putting the biffo back into the Featherlite Modified Series….……...

Finally the crews and security were able to separate the two men……. Pussy Galore wasnt going to miss out as she hurled some of her own abuse at Luis Rivas…… And let me tell you…… She knows all the words Dick knows and then some……..

Dick was ushered away still yelling obscenities at Rivas…… With Pussy Galore now trying to calm down Dick…… She might have her work cut for her….. But if anyone can calm a raging Dick it would be Pussy Galore…….

Luis Rivas was left sitting on the ground leaning against the wall…… Clutching at his ribs……. Clearly winded and in a lot of pain…… The medical staff arrived to take Rivas back to the medical centre………. Well NASCAR did state that Dick couldnt do anything until the end of the season….. And its officially the end of the season…… What a way to end it…….

The crowed have lost their collective minds…… The cheers are almost deafening and they start chanting “DICK DICK DICK DICK!” and hes led away by security……. Hes become a real crowed favourite this year…….

So there you have it folks…... The 2004 Featherlite Modified Series Championship is done and dusted…… A season full of ups and downs…… A season full of heartbreak and tears…… A season full of anger and fights……. A season where history was made and stories were created that will last a life time……. And a season where Dick Trickle brought back the biff…… Its been a fantastic season and one of the best I have ever witnessed in my all years covering the Featherlite Modified Series…...

Left Turn Heaven is not done either…… As we have a series of special off-season shows to keep you up to date on all the latest off-season news from the Featherlite Modified Series……. Next week we will be having a sit down interview with the one and only Dick Trickle…… I sure hope he doesnt mistake me for Luis Rivas…..

This is Murray Eastlake reporting for Left Turn Heaven……. Jason Sulivan is your 2004 Featherlite Modified Series Champion…… And until next time its goodbye from me….

Dakar 18…...

Like sands through the hour glass…… So are the days of our Dakar…….. Yes….. I bought Dakar 18…… Finally…….

The graphics are really really nice……. The desert looks good as do the other remote areas of South America……. Theres lots of small shrubs and rocks and vegetation on many stages to break up the monotonous sandy dune sections…….. The vehicles all look nice as well…… Very well modelled and the liveries are all correct and very nicely detailed……

The weather effects are very nice…… The rain and storms looks good as does the fog…… And there is a day to night transition which is well done as well……. As yes the vehicles can get very dirty during the stages as well….. And it looks quite nice…...

The sounds are fine…… The engines actually sound like the real engines……. With the Kamaz truck having a very nice deep powerful rumble to the engine note…….. The sounds of the tyres on the different surfaces sound good…… The navigator is very annoying……. He shrieks like a fangirl when a new Bomberman game is released and is also not all that helpful when you get lost….. And you will get lost a lot in this game…….. The navigator does absolutely nothing to help you…….. Besides telling you that you are lost……. There are no hints on how to correct your mistake and get back on the right track…….. Nothing…… Just a “YOU ARE MOVING AWAY FROM THE CAP HEADING!!!!!” and “THIS IS NOT THE CAP”…….. Yeah thanks mate……. Now how about some actual help???……..

The controls are good for the most part…. I have heard that steering wheels can be a pain to set up and may not work properly……. But my GuliKit KingKong 2 Pro Controller works fine out of the box……. And I was able to complete the entire Dakar Rally without any problems control wise……. Its more simulation than Dakar 2 last week…… But there is still a arcade element to the handling……..

The storyline….. Well there is no storyline… So I get to make one up again……. April O’Neil has once again been kidnapped by Shredder in Southern America and its up the Ninja Turtles to rescue her……. The Turtles call on their good friend Speed Buggy to help the Ninja Turtles disguise themselves as Dakar Rally drivers to track down April O’Neil is the harsh unforgiving hostile South American landscape….…… This sure is no place for turtles…...

The gameplay is pretty simple……. Get from Point A to Point B in the shortest time possible while hitting all the way points and check points along the way and not getting lost…… And Dakar 18 does not just include the 14 Stages of the 2018 Dakar Rally……. There are two FREE DLCs released for the game that adds the Desafío Ruta 40 Rally and the Desafío Inca Rally……. There really is a lot to see and do in this game…… And unlike the other Dakar games I have covered this one really does capture the gruelling nature of the event……

Same as last week I drove the Blue Amarda of Kamaz……. This time the truck does indeed feel quite heavy and its quite slow to turn……… Which is the way it should be…… It rumbles over the small rocks and shrubs with ease….. Takes ages to come to a stop and is able to climb most sand dunes with relative ease……

The arcade elements comes from the terrain….. Its very very hard to get yourself bogged in the sandy desert…… And traversing the harsh landscapes is a little on the easy side in general…… Maybe the cars get bogged easier and stuff…… That will be something to try out later….. But the trucks have very little problem taming the landscape…….

The other arcade element is the repairs……. There is so time limit for fixing the vehicle again…… Its all done with “Dakar Points”……. If you have enough Dakar Points the entire vehicle can be repaired no problems……. You earn Dakar Points every time you get to a way point/check point and completing each stage……..

The race time has increased significantly since Dakar 2 last week……. This time the 14 stages took me around 9.5 hours to complete……. And I really enjoyed every moment of it…… While still not anywhere near the real Dakar 2018 truck winning time of 54 hours 57 minutes and 37 seconds…… This still really does a good job of capturing the long gruelling nature of the Dakar Rally…….

Another great thing is that nothing is locked behind a progression wall…….. EVERYTHING is unlocked from the start…… You can pick any vehicle and any stage and even pick the time of day and the weather conditions……… And go race…….

Overall Dakar 18 is by far the best Dakar game I have played…… Sadly there are only six Dakar games ever made so far…….. Its strange how so few games have been made of this awesome event and how many of them are utter trash…….. So its not a super high bar get over….. But Dakar 18 is a very good game that does a great job showing just how long and how difficult navigating the Dakar Rally really is…… Even if the driving is a little on the forgiving side of things…… Maybe even a little too forgiving……

Dakar 18 and Dakar 2 last week are both great picks to scratch that Dakar itch…… But both for very different reasons…….

And that is why my final score for Dakar 18 is a Vladimir Chagin out of 10……...

Dakar 18…..

The Road To PES Penguin 6

The road to unlock the PES Penguin in Pro Evolution Soccer 6 is at 250 PES points out of 5000……….

Rugby 08 World Cup……..

Wales vs Australia

The Wallabies started the match strong…… Creating an early turnover and slowly rumbling the ball forward with excellent ball retention in the rucks to score a try in the 7th minute……

Wales was not to be shown up and started playing some good rugby while also capitalising on Wallabies mistakes who started to play some rather sloppy rugby…….. Wales scored a try to level the scores at 7 all…..

The Wallabies managed to score another try just before half time to take a 14-7 lead into the sheds at half time……

After the half time break it was a tight battle for the first 10 minutes until Alun Wyn Jones for Wales was shown the yellow card by the referee for a blatant professional foul stopping the Wallabies scoring a try……. And he had to spend 10 minutes in the sin bin……. Meaning Wales was going to be a man down for the next 10 minutes…….

The Wallabies used their man advantage to perfection to score 3 quick tries during that 10 minute period to have a commanding 35-7 lead……

The final nail in the coffin came in the last 5 minutes when the wallabies won a lineout close to the Wales try line and was able to create a strong enough maul to push over the line and score a try……

The Wallabies run out rather comfortable winners in the end 42-7……. But the scoreline does not tell the whole storyline……. Way to many turnovers by the Wallabies in this game and that is an area they will need to improve on over the next two pool games if they want to get past the semi final stage of the tournament……..

Next match will be Australia vs Fiji…..

Yes……. I have yet ANOTHER stupid segment…...

Just for whizse…... To make him drink more……..

I was watching the college football again on the weekend as per usual when its college football season and there are people streaming the games on youtube….……. And seeing all these weird and terrible American TV commercials really cracked me up…….. To the point where im starting a new segment called “The Best Worst Ad I Saw During College Football”……

First up……. After getting like 5 terrible “Food” commercials in a row and I use the term “Food” loosely…. Cause I dont think any of it was actually food…… There was this little gem…… The perfect product for after you have eaten the terrible “food” advertised……. I dont think I ever seen anyone look so happy while singing “diarrhea”……..

Next week…… Should be another quiet week…… The usual work and dog walks as well as lots of gaming as per usual…… I dont have anything special planned at all…….

As for gaming there will be hardcore modified Dick Trickle racing action in NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona……. Getting lost in a desert in Dakar 18…….. More PES Penguin 6…….. Rugby World Cup in Rugby 08……… And I will be on my last Dakar adventure for the foreseeable future….. Will it end on a high note????……. The answer is……. Probably not…….

Well thats it from me…… Hope all you tuxers have a good week……

Now for my bad joke of the week……
I told my wife Im building a model of Mount Everest........
She said "Is it to scale???......"
I said "No..... Its to look at......"

Don't worry, my friend, it happens to the best of us!

I still had my screenshots from the previous version of my reply to this post, though unfortunately I'd already erased my weekly gaming notes, but I should be able to reconstruct it to some degree;

My first pick for this weekend was Frog Detective 3: Corruption at Cowboy County - a charming spoof of the detective genre, and the final entry in its trilogy. Like all of the Frog Detective games, it's not especially long - an hour or so, tops - but that's perfect for what it's trying to do.

I had waited to buy it until I was sure that Proton support was fine for the third game, like it was for the other two, and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing - it was a great conclusion to the series, and I respect the devs' decision not to run it into the ground by making a ton more.

If you're after a chilled-out, family-friendly take on this genre that's fun no matter how old you are, I'd thoroughly recommend the Frog Detective games. All three of them, in order.

Of course, my other pick for this weekend is Super Bomberman R 2 (Proton)! Things are going great with this game, and it's the first that I've eagerly waited for in years that has absolutely delivered, and then some. To say that I'm absolutely delighted with it would be a MASSIVE understatement!

I might just be trying to singlehandedly get Super Bomberman R 2 onto the official Steam Deck Most Played list for September, too.

I've been having fun dressing Bomberman up in various outfits - doesn't he look adorable wearing this ridiculous raincoat, with a fish on his head? There must be some really bad storms out there!

I also might've started an in-game fashion-trend with this tough-looking combo - after I took it online and posted some screenshots, a bunch of other people seemed to run with it, too! That was a really cool moment for me.

I'm pretty much gamed out right now, but that Dakar 18 sounds great. I'm not keen on racing games (like on a track) but a cross country one across different terrain would be good. When I get a racing game, I don't do very many of the races, I just like to free drive as fast as I can without wiping out. (e.g. "need for speed" games are good that way)

Also "the driving being a little too forgiving" sounds like a benefit for me. Too many driving games have arbitrary driving difficulty. It's a video game... why does it have to be harder than real life driving? lol

I mean really, if some of those cars handled like they do in video games, engineers would be fired.

Well you are in luck........ Dakar 18 does have a free roam mode..... I have no tried it yet so I cant tell you much about it...... But I will give it a go later tonight or tomorrow and let you know.......

The way the Kamaz truck drives is actually pretty good even though the physics do get a bit wonky at times......... Its the terrain that is to forgiving for my liking.........

It annoys me more than it annoys most people as I love the Dakar Rally and I was really looking forward to fighting the terrain as much as the navigation and the vehicle itself....... And it just doesnt do that........ Its sooooo hard to get stuck in the sand and mud its kind of a joke...... You dont need to be careful at all on the dunes....... When in reality you need to be careful how to attack the dunes as to not get stuck........ Its just a real let down for me........ Its just a tad to far the other way....... Maybe its a truck thing and the cars are harder to drive...... But the Kamaz truck can just yeet over nearly every dune no matter the size or angle of attack..... And besides huge rocks/boulders the rest of the terrain poses very little issues as well......

Yes its a bit of a nitpick...... But if you want a REALISTIC Dakar Rally experience that is one area that is a massive let down...... For me at least.......

If they had easy terrain on the easy difficulty and hard terrain on harder difficulties that would have been perfect.......

Quoting: GroganIt's a video game... why does it have to be harder than real life driving? lol

As a super long time former sim racer I totally agree...... Race cars are not hard to drive....... They are hard to drive FAST....... Getting every tenth out of the car is the hard part......... That is the difference that they (Developers/Publishers and Fans) dont seem to understand.......

They seem to equate hard to drive with realism....... If the cars where as hard to drive in real life as they are in most sim racing games........ Not only would all the engineers be fired........ But nearly every driver would be dead.......

I've never had much willpower when I've wanted something, so I bought the bloody thing. I always get what I want :-)

It's just that I've got so many games I should be playing that I've recently bought, and a credit card that doesn't need any more charges this month. Money left at the end of the month? Never... there's always lots of month left at the end of the money, more like lol

Just to let you know the free roam mode is called "Treasure Hunt" and its in the "Explore" menu..... When you fire up the game and see the menus what I just said will make a lot more sense..........
Grogan Sep 26, 2023
I just chose the Explore, and tested a couple of the race events.

The first one was with that Kamaz truck, on the dunes. I see what you mean, but it's also too stupid that the truck is a slow, lumbering vehicle. (Even so, it should be more top heavy than that though... I'd expect to tip that thing on its side, being frivolous on sand dunes)

So the next race I chose was with a bike, and I picked the next event. It started out on bumpy dirt paths and I saw my character shaking lol (felt the controller's force feedback too of course). That was pretty good, the bike felt about right. After I got on pavement, the bike was wrong because it had special tires for dirt though.

I'll have to play with this a lot more tonight :-)
Grogan Sep 27, 2023
I finished a whole racing stage, yay me. It was easy (and I'm on "Rookie" settings) but the dune buggy type thing "RZR 1000 Turbo" handled about as realistically as I'd like it to be (without arbitrary difficulty, erring on the side of easy)

That's about right for difficulty for my lame ass. On my first race, I beat the other vehicles by about 5 minutes! Yes, every kid gets a first place trophy in this league :-)

My spotter kept admonishing me about taking damage, and danger close. I couldn't find the eject button. I did manage to roll it, but ended up righted after a few tumbles.

I'm just going to free race, this is a lot of fun.

It must go on GPS position or something. We have a hud marker to line up with, but in those desert off road parts where it takes you on invisible twists and turns to get to checkpoints it must be a gps route or something? (I know nothing about this).

If your racing on Rookie....... follow the yellow dot at the top of the screen that shows you where the next waypoint marker is.........

And yes the navigator directs you in Compass (Cap)/Bearing headings in degrees....... So if he says "NOW TURN RIGHT TO CAP 206"....... You turn to the right to compass/bearing heading 206 degrees which is also shown at the top of the screen........ Its not easy and im still having a lot of troubling stringing it all together on the higher difficulties.........

Reading the road book........ Watching the cap....... Listening to the navigator........ Checking for speed zones....... Watching out for rocks and dips...... All at the same time....... Its a lot to take in at first......

Quoting: GroganThe first one was with that Kamaz truck, on the dunes. I see what you mean, but it's also too stupid that the truck is a slow, lumbering vehicle. (Even so, it should be more top heavy than that though... I'd expect to tip that thing on its side, being frivolous on sand dunes)
While I do agree the makes to too hard to roll the trucks........ The trucks arnt actually THAT top heavy........ As you can see here...... most of the top of the truck is empty........ with all the components set as low as possible to make the centre of gravity as low as possible.......

While you can indeed roll the trucks over in real life....... They are actually harder to roll than you would think by just looking at it with the sides down...... Though the game does take that to the extreme.....

Yeah im an engineering/tech nerd when it comes to race vehicles...... I love seeing the ingenious solutions they have for issues like wight distribution and other boring stuff like that.......

Glad you are enjoying the game though
