I chose that for the second race, Pisto 2 or something like that. It started out reasonable with a path to follow, then I ended up going off into the dunes. There must be little twists and dips in the sandy terrain I can't see, because after being thrown from that thing a dozen times I was being pretty careful lol

Once, on the rare occasion you'd see another quad driver in the same place off road/track, as soon as I get up I get run over, and I'm "too injured to continue" rofl!

OK, I was enjoying those dunes, so I restart the race and I'm being super careful. I'm getting knocked off my quad a lot, but I was just making up the time across terrain when some invisible something knocked me flying high and wide, up to like airplane height and I fell and fell and landed somewhere. The fall didn't kill me, and I got up and walked around. My quad was NOWHERE to be seen.

I noticed than on the bike when getting knocked off, that you could actually get up and walk around a bit before you get back on the bike. I though that was neato at first, and I was curious to see how far it would actually let you walk.

Well, it turned out, pretty damned far. Only 49 km to go, to finish the race on foot. Not only can you walk forever, but it lets you run if you hold the trigger. That cracked me up, so I kept running, following the yellow brick hud marker, until I came over a dune at a cross roads type place with tents and tables etc. and people cheering me as I ran by on foot

That was enough of that, but it was funny while it lasted. I hope that physics glitch doesn't happen too often though :-)

Yeah I have heard a lot of complaints about the Quad Bikes on forums and in the YT videos........ I never mentioned cause because ive never used them..... I have ZERO interest in Quads........ So I didnt know how true that was today.......

According to Steam ive driven a car for 86km and the Truck the rest of the time....... Im one of those super boring people who will drive like 1 vehicle for 99% of a game...... Even if given a selection of over 100........

I've learned to ignore that and before too long, it fades. However, there was one time when I watched Kelly's Heroes for the umpteenth time, I got the song Burning Bridges stuck in my head.

I guess I'm the opposite. I have recently been getting into wheel-to-wheel sims instead of the rallying variety. Realism up to 100%, assists 0%. Instead I turn the AI down to the point where there's just a hint of forward momentum and just enough intelligence for them not to drive the opposite way down the track....

I guess it's been overused to the point of exhaustion, much like Also sprach Zarathustra. A pity since it is a great piece of music and used splendidly in the original movie. I really enjoyed the works of Vangelis, so sad he passed away last year.
