Hi, after reading this article Tomb Raider I-III Remastered heads to Steam from Aspyr I wonder which is the more recommended one.

For what I see OpenLara is the only one with linux native one, but I can be wrong, I only scan quickly the pages.

What do you think ?

Tomb1Main changed it's name to TR1X two weeks ago!

For the original experience, only TR1X was created from dissembling the original game binaries so gameplay should be an exact match. TR1X should be Linux compatible now that it's using FFmpeg and SDL. Just the devs are Windows based and seem to like unnecessarily using docker so no instructions for building by directly with meson but it should work.

So CroftEngine over OpenLara but I feel TR1X may now be better with original gameplay and many level, texture and audio fixes.

Hi, I'll check TR1X to see if I compile it. Croftengine do you play it with wine?
