DAC is only concern really but could be fine. I use two monitors in x11 one 1440p one 1080p with no problems (both 240hz). 6900xt is awesome on Linux. Another option for non steam games is lutris or you could try. Endeavour OS is arch based with an iso you could spin up on USB to test it out. Ssds are going up in price soon so might be a good time to replace the HDD.

UPDATE: I got it done today! I've successfully run both Deeprock Galactic and Factorio (I know, native game). I'm working on getting my GOG library working.

So far, the DAC has been no problem for me. Hopefully, it continues to not be.

To Linux Gaming would be apt. I've been using it for writing and what would probably be considered office tasks, for years continuously. The only games I've played on Linux prior are low-requirement, native games such as Factorio (well, low requirement at first).

Fair enough Enjoy it!

Just be careful, you may find that after a while of using only Linux, using Windows becomes difficult and/or annoying
