I also played other amazing games this year, but they are games I had played in previous years as well. Victoria 3, Civ 6, Stellaris, EU4, Slay the Spire, Gloomhaven, Slipways, Northgard, Train Valley 2, Warhammer 40K Gladius, Satisfactory, Total Warhammer 3, and a lot of Sudoku. And I started some games that were good but I was not in the headspace for them, being extremely busy with work for a few months or otherwise distracted, and need a proper try. And, exceptionally, I played one big game (so not mobile) not on Linux: Zelda BoTW on my friend's switch, which was really good.
