So i decided to start a mini browser game called OS Fight.
Why? I was bored.
Already finished the sign up process to link into this forum so anyone registered/logged in here can play the game by simply entering in the name for their OS and away they go.
It will be a simple game, stats ideas:
-RAM (health)
-Users (Power) (Gain 1 per day) (Gain 1 per link click - track via IP - wipe each day)
-Anti Virus (Defence)
-Processor (Speed)
-Virus Count (Minus Speed)
-Batteries (Turns)
-Money (Buy Users, Buy Anti-Virus, Buy Processors, Hire a virus cleaner, Buy more batteries)
-Wins
-Losses
-Level
-EXP
Fights high score table out of 5.
Money high score table out of 5.
What do you think?
Currently trying to work out a good way to do levels and exp.
Like exp needed for the next level is current level x 100 or something? Don't want to make it too complicated heh. That's simple enough, but then working out how much exp to give them when they win - that's the tricky part.
Maybe something like their level x 100 / 3?

So how are you going to build this game? Are you going to use a scripting language or what?
Just good old php and mysql :P
Just a text browser game :)
