As they come up, interviews and deep dives are great, but I understand that can't happen all the time.
Perhaps you could record some of your gameplay of games you're particularly enjoying playing and drop a link every now and then? That (hopefully) wouldn't be as time-consuming as in-depth game reviews, and you could also include any multiplayer stuff you might do with the GOL community. I do appreciate that you'll want time when you're off the clock, though.

I'll try and do the button this evening, might be too tired after travelling this afternoon though. If not, tomorrow.
Although, I do have concerns about video spam, so i may look to limit this perhaps to 2 per comment / forum post. Thoughts anyone?

Yes please limit them! I also have seen other forums / comments sections be destroyed by video spam.

Here's what I've done:
- I've split off our affiliate replacing code into its own JavaScript file, which is inside a function
- Our main JavaScript file calls the function, if it finds it exists (if the file is loaded)
So right now, you can just entirely block https://www.gamingonlinux.com/includes/jscripts/GOL/golafreplacer.js (anyone can do this directly). Obviously I won't be advertising this side of it :P
During this week or next, i'll look to hook up a new option for Patreon supporters at Supporter Plus level to have an option to just not load it in.
Example that's using a plain link is the sci-fi shooter article.
Obviously, this won't affect previous stuff, but will happen going forward. It saves me time as well, as I can just now use plain humble links in the article editor, since it auto-JS changes it to the affiliate link for me.
What's not included in this is Steam links, as all our thing does is add on our Curator ID so you see any review I did on the store page.
Edit: changed the filename to something less obvious

Very nice! I'll leave them so I can test the option when it arrives.
Curator id in steam links was fine. I'm curious what Valve does with it though. I assume it's input for their recommendation algorithm.
