Had a quick play around with GOL logo and came up with this in same colour scheme.

*Edit*
Cleaned it up a little and used existing gol font. I think the logo needed the capitals for "G" and "L" so have used different font.
*Edit*
Tried to smooth off G and O a little more (hard to do with black as its high contrast)

Nice...GOL Retro !
Looks awesome.
I like the idea but the G in the second picture looks pixelated?
Could add a logo rotation hmm...
Been thinking about doing a new comments system using http://disqus.com/
Tried to smooth off G and O a little more. Edited first post.
I think the current websites logo's positioning needs to be central aligned.
G and the O still seem pixelated?
I could easily add the space invaders to the current text though and have it on a rotation :)
Why not sounds cool, theres nothing much else I can do to remove pixelation.
I've no idea how my designer got the text so smooth...mystery!
Got some new graphics ready to put up today too :D

Actually I have one more idea, if I copy and paste parts of his letters to create the new capitals it should look just as smooth will get back to you with that later on today.
Right sorted! Weirdly it looks smoother.
