It has again been some time since we reached out to the community, so here's a reminder: we are completely funded by readers and we need your support.

The last year has been a busy one, with lots of big announcements and we continue to be at the front of it all for the Linux gaming audience. We do firmly hope to be here for years to come even as the industry changes around us. We have the Steam Deck upcoming, Proton is constantly improving and lots more to look forward to next year. We don't aim to be the first to report on things, we're not wanting a numbers game - we just try to make nice regular content for you to read, that perhaps you won't find elsewhere.

We continue to have no adverts, so we depend on you!

If you can donate or regularly support us, here's where you can do so: Firstly, if you wish to get specific reward tiers and access to special things you can do so on Patreon.

All other donations, without any special rewards can be done by:

You can also buy games using our affiliate/partner links:

You can find all the links to support us on a our dedicated page any time.

As always, our inbox is open if you wish to know anything or you wish us to work on a feature to improve the site. Always happy to hear from readers and game developers. Check out our contact page on how to reach us.

I'm a Patreon supporter and it's worth every penny. Years ago I used to monitor a half dozen web sites to get maybe three new Linux gaming articles a week. Liam and friends manage that almost every single day.

Please put the GOL merch link more notable on page! I, for long time didn't realize such way to support even existed! Many won't ever think to dig the link out where it's now at.

Then i got to your store and was like wow. Now i can also be a walking ad to support Linux gaming in addition to little money to GOL, too

Merch sotre?! Aaaah! So sad, unavailable to Canada. I would have bought that GamingOnLinux mug; it looks really great!

Yeah sorry the merch store is a bit of a PITA. They need us to setup an additional one for US/Canada because they produce it based on where you want it delivered.

My yearly donations to all the projects are currently a bit on hold, but as soon as the new job is sorted out that will be made up and GoL sure is on the permanent list (together with KDE and mozilla ^^)

No problem. Absolutely no pressure intended, but is it something you plan to do? If so, I'll be patient (like if I had any choice).

I am hoping to. I have other designs I want to add too but it requires some extra time. Feel free to send me a reminder in a month or so if I haven't sorted it :)
