With a demo now available, Katanaut is an action roguelite set aboard a massive space station spiraling out of control. It looks like it has some great action, and it's pretty grim.

More: With the station slowly spiraling out of control, and its once-human inhabitants twisted into terrors, you’re the unlucky one tasked with uncovering what is going on... assuming you’re able to survive the station's violent halls with souls-like combat.

I tested out the demo on Kubuntu Linux 24.10 with the latest Proton 9.0-4 and it works without issues. Giving a definite Dead Cells meets Dead Space vibes from this one. With very fast-paced combat and a nice mixture of great lighting with pixel-art it looks great in motion. One to try out and keep an eye on.
