If you love classic point and click adventures then Splittown might be your next destination, as it's just arrived on Steam. It has Native Linux support, and they plan to improve the Steam Deck support soon too. The game is in Early Access while they gather feedback and polish the experience.
Story: "Cold War has split the world in two, both figuratively and literally. The Great Divide spans across the globe with an impenetrable mess of concrete and barbed wire sandwiched between the two blocs. You are Leonard Nimby; stone-faced former top agent of IM5, hot on the trail of a shrink gun stolen from you by a villanous mayoral candidate on the eve of a fateful election."

Looks very Day of the Tentacle. That may come with some high expectations though.

I'm not sure that Leonard Nimby is a good idea for a name – Nimby is somewhat of an insult and it seems to make fun of Leonard Nimoy. I'm not sure that I want to play a Nimby in a game.
