A fresh Proton Experimental update from Valve has landed fixing up issues with two games for Linux / Steam Deck so here's what's new. This follows on from a recent Proton Hotfix for The Finals. See more in my guide on all the Proton versions.
The two fixes Valve noted are:
- Fixed The Finals crashing after a recent game update.
- Fixed No Man's Sky failing to boot in VR mode after a recent game update.

It will just show up in your Steam Downloads as an update for Proton Experimental. The Finals is already set for Proton Experimental by default, but you'll need to swap it over for No Man's Sky VR in settings -> compatibility. See more in our guide on changing Proton versions.
In case you missed it there was also a Proton Hotfix update for FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH.
