It looks very much like Advance Wars. LAVABIRD and First Break Labs have announced that Warside is set for launch now on April 14th.

You'll be able to battle across icy snow environments, sandy deserts, toxic wastelands and more in various modes including solo play (campaign and skirmish), co-op and PvP. There's a buit-in mission editor for you to make your own battles too. Various different types of combatants to command including snipers, medics, mortar teams, artillery, tanks, submarines, and warships. You get to pick between fourteen different commanders to progress through it, with each of them having different passive skills and special battle powers.

Nice to see Steam Deck clearly listed in a trailer too. It will have Native Linux support.
