Necesse is a wonderful mixture of base / village building, exploration, adventure and survival with support for solo and co-op play. They've teased the 1.0 update is due out this year, along with The Forgotten Depths update out now.

The update was shadow-dropped during the Triple-i Showcase. According to the team, this surprise update is to celebrate the amazing support from players in the start of 2025, including more than 250,000 new players pouring in last month.

The 1.0 release was very briefly teased at the end of the latest update trailer:

Changes/misc:

Sending people on missions can now be automated with the Mission Board.
Settler shops now have wealth and limed stock on some items.
Pawnbrokers can now no longer be recruited.
Miners and Pawnbrokers will now spawn in newly generated NPC villages.
Renamed Traveling Merchant to Exotic Merchant.
Mage enchants costs are now further reduced by their happiness.
NPC village settlers will now get angry if you destroy their village.
NPC villages will now respawn their settlers after a while if they were killed or recruited.
Increased Carapace Dagger attack speed and damage slightly.

Fixes:

Fixed mini biomes colliding with dungeon entrance, causing them to be cut off.
Fixed zombies in friendly watch cabin disappearing when using nearby ladder.
Fixed being able to dismount in other ways from the Witch Broom when you shouldn't.
Fixed regen debug command not working correctly in some areas.
Fixed settlers sometimes being slow at getting going after having talked to them.
Fixed Slime dome and Star barrier buffs not showing when in water.
Fixed a handful a mobs/treasures not being show in the Adventure Journal.
Fixed a bug where the Butcher's Cleaver would extend food buffs on hit.
