Of life and Land has been in Early Access for just over a year now, and it's about to cross over the finishing line as Metaroot and Kerzoven have announced the 1.0 launch for May 16th.

More about it: Of Life and Land is a charming settlement-building strategy game paired with a rich nature simulation experience. Every animal and plant strives to find its place in nature while you lead your villagers to their future. Expand to different regions and trade with local factions to gain needed resources.

The 1.0 Release introduces a brand-new historical scenario about the Counts of Lenzburg, set in the Central Plateau of medieval Switzerland. Players can build the Lenzburg Castle, discover ancient myths, and take part in a time of political conflict between church and empire. New features also include castle construction, single-city scenarios, advanced trade mechanics, and decorative elements like benches, signposts, and flower boxes to bring settlements to life.

It has Native Linux support and Valve rated it Steam Deck Playable.
