Valve released a small update to the Steam Beta Client for Desktop and Steam Deck, containing two fixes that have been confusing players. It may not be a big update, but still an important one.
For the April 21st update in the Beta channel here's the changes:
- Fixed an issue where changes to notes could be lost when offline.
- Fixed an issue where only newly taken screenshots would appear in the screenshot list until client restart.

The screenshot issue was an annoying one, it happened to me a few times when trying to gather shots from my Steam Deck. Nice to see it solved now.
