Roots of Pacha is basically like a Stone Age version of Stardew Valley, a co-op farming and life sim from Sofa Den. The Sun and Moon update is a big one and it's out now. The game has Native Linux support and Valve rated it Steam Deck Verified.

More about the update:

Explore the Mograni Mountains and Yakuan Islands, two new regions with three subregions each, learn new practices and rituals, and see the majestic sights of the neighboring Mograni and Yakuan cultures that built them.

The stars will align to form new Ideas like ironworking as well as new mechanics like bug catching. Dig deep into an intertwining cave system opened by hidden sigils that unlock new Pachan possibilities and unveil ancestral secrets. Learn about the other clan’s ways of living by joining their sun and moon festivals, playing “Dice” with the Mograni, and performing music with the Yakuans.

Travel to the lands of the sun to find flora like Rye, Lentil Seeds, and Soaproot to create life-altering inventions like the soap processor. Tame new fauna in the lands of the moon, like dodos and pandas. Expand your own Pachan world with these clan’s ways. Foster harmonious coexistence by helping each clan develop their own Ideas for growth. Meet new characters, including new romance options like the Mograni silver fox, Azkel, and Sayra, a Yakuan resident recovering from past heartbreak.

Trade with new friends for fresh outfits, discover the art of setting sail on a raft to fish, and decorate your home with new goods from the Mograni and Yakuans to live the Pachan life like never before.

“The journey of making Roots of Pacha has been an incredible experience,” said Timothy Dadone Nasello, Co-Founder of Soda Den. “We’re grateful to everyone who’s been a part of it, and especially to the community that formed around it and that, just like the game, wonders about our human origins and the limitless possibilities of our curiosity.”
