Ex-Zodiac is a 3D on-rails shooter made in the spirit of the classic Starfox, it's currently in Early Access with Linux support and a major update just released.

This update adds in a wild-west ground-vehicle-based stage named MIRAGE complete with arches, canyons, nuke-hauling trains, robot horses and cowboys! Sounds like quite a riot. Seems the full release may still be a while away, with developer Ben Hickling working solo on most parts of it apart from the music.

  • A 16-bit style soundtrack by +TEK combining FM and wavetable synthesis.
  • Barrel rolls.

It has Native Linux support and Valve rated it Steam Deck Playable.
