The game is a 3D, third-person, arcade-style, action-game that combines the tactical and skill-based combat of a Fighter with the progression, overwhelming odds, and awesome boss battles of an old-school Brawler!
The game was originally on the Playstation 3 under the name "Strength of the SWORD3", and this looks like an expanded version of it for more platforms and with more content. I did find it odd their Kickstarter doesn't mention this, but it's not a major issue.
They have already been fully funded, and are sailing towards some more stretch goals. One to put on your game radar folks.

I think it looks fantastic, but as usual we never recommend backing games on Kickstarter even if it looks like a sure thing. It's always a risk.

Wow, this game while being pretty different reminds me of amazing Blady Symphony which is probably never going to be released on linux. :<

I did find it odd their Kickstarter doesn't mention this, but it's not a major issue.At the top of the Kickstarter page it says they made Strength of the SWORD 3, going on the explain what it is and what they're adding quite clearly, I thought.
reminds me of amazing Blady Symphony which is probably never going to be released on linux. :<Why? It uses the Source engine and in past posts on the forum they had expressed interest in supporting Steam Machines.
