I was actually writing this up the other day, until I realised it was Windows only. Shortly after the Linux version was put up, so that's awesome news.
It has a mixture of brutal destruction, even more brutal deaths, tons of playable characters that each behave differently with their weapons and it's just amazing.
One not to miss. I don't often get to 100% games, but I totally did with Broforce.
Find Broforce on GOG now. It's also on a cracking sale. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

GOG is really trying to empty everyone's wallet before Steam. I like this competition. :)

I do have to echo this, it's one reason I've been looking at itch a lot more recently, their client is really slick and it's getting a major update soon too. Sadly I've actually held off buying some things because of convenience: I prefer DRM-free, but GOG hasn't released Galaxy for GNU/Linux. Real competition might start (for GNU/Linux) if GOG would actually do that.

Agreed. The primary benefit of Steam is that it updates my games and manages installing them all from one centralized location.
This is why I keep paying into Steam, plus their Linux support obviously.
If Gog got their Gog Galaxy client rolling I might register a gog account.
Origin on the other hand, there's no way in hell I'm investing into their abusive content distribution, after loosing $120 to Star Wars The Old Republic Online only to be hassled for a credit card and $20 for first month to get 30 days free - EA can rot in hell.

Eh, I'm still buying games from GOG first despite the Galaxy delay. I value DRM-free way above convenience.

Have they fixed the horrid sync issues when playing alongside somebody on Windows? We kept seeing completely different game with enemies that are long dead for one still out there killing the other and other fun stuff like that.
It made the game pretty much pointless for me.

One thing I do not like about steam is that you can't turn the auto-updates off in many games. It is annoying when you want a game to stay at a specific version, or if you like to do them manually.

The option is always there for me to turn off updates.

So im still new to some things Linux- got BroForce on GOG, install SH file making it run in term. Says its installed plays a lil intro but then screen goes black... any ideas?

Says its installed plays a lil intro but then screen goes black... any ideas?Their Linux version is a bit flaky at the best of times, run it in terminal if you can. Sometimes Broforce does just crap out though.
Was hoping GOG would have picked up on it, sad to hear it still happens.
