If you like building spaceships, blowing crap up and having your ship stolen over and over then Defect is what you need.
I had some serious fun with it while testing it in Early Access. The unique point about this game over other spaceship building and combat games is your ship is repeatedly stolen. So you keep rebuilding and keep facing your old ships during the game.
It's fun, just don't go making your ship too powerful, or you might struggle against your own perfection.
It has a full campaign, along with other single player modes. So it's not "yet another sandbox builder".
