Here's a handy countdown for you to know exactly when:

2016-10-27 17:00:00

I'm excited to see it, so I will be watching it on catch-up when it's finished as it's a little early for me with family time.

I am still hoping to have my usual port report on release day, so stay tuned.

Are you going to livestream Discovering Colors - Animals too?

It will be interesting to see if they have the Purehair effects in the Linux version? I'll have to make some time to check this stream out. Really looking forward to this game.

Oh I like that.

I just bought a deus ex box in a local market to support their linux port. I should just wait for the release and then activate and play, to make it count as a "linux sale" right?

@VdoP no, I think when you activate a game on Steam via the CD-key it doesn't count as anything (since you have already paid the game)...

I did the same with Pillars of Eternity, but I was told that all box sells probably count as Windows sale. Maybe a Feral guy drops in and knows more.

That will not pay Feral, it's as simple as that.

Only way you can give them money is by buying the games for Linux.

I honestly don't get the point of buying games before release.

It's mot about buying before release, but getting a box for the money. I still have the first original Deus Ex box and some lovely memories about that game. If i understood correctly, the boxed version would not count as a linux sale in two weeks either, so i dont really understand what you are trying to say. I, as a customer, want a box for games worth more than 20 Eur.

It's a shame it works this way. I wonder then how can they come up with a 1% sale if they don't even count the sales made on linux. Plus the game offer on windows is like 4times bigger. So 4times more splited than on linux. I wonder how feral, aspyr and vp can manage to live with that. If you don't come on gamingonlinux in the forum, you won't be tell that info by steam. By the way if someone could tell me, if that's right that on feral store if you don't go on the linux page, sale count as mac as well? I read that on the forum a few weeks ago. My buy may have been counted as mac :s

If you buy on a Linux machine from the Feral store it counts as Linux.

Thank you for your answer, and also being present in the linux community! Many big companies could take lessons from you. I hope the linux sales will be growing and I am looking forward to play Mankind Divided!
