GOG staff state that Galaxy for Linux is being worked on, but still no ETA

You can manually add non-Steam games to Steam to be able to see them.

Quoting: ShmerlI don't see any indication that Feral can't be ones who made SW2 for Linux. The only counter argument could be if you know that FWH have Linux developers in-house. Which by now isn't known as I said before.
After all we know SW2 is extremely unlikely. You are simply biased for SW2. Like others for Nier: Automata, Doom or whatever. What do you win? Should I list all the games that are more likely than SW2? This would be the half steam library. SW2 is one of the unlikeliest games to be ported by Feral.

Feral has no shares in Devolver Digital, absolute nothing. DD is working with a bunch of little developer teams like the Croteam, who do there own ports. Here is a list:

Quoting: UltraVioletdoesn't seem to be a option to use a controller rather than the keyboard in the options menu [i might of been missing something] so i couldn't play it to its fullest

I started the game with my Steam Controller switched on and the game seemed to work just fine using it, despite there being no obvious option to select a controller.

no luck for me with a xbox 360 controller plugged in.

how much are steam controllers?

Quoting: chui2chThis makes me think it is Dawn of War III.

Makes sense. Where does it come from?

I don't know how Dawn of War III would solve the feral radar riddle but would make absolute sense, because Dawn of War is in Ferals porting realm.

I personally hate to manage the downloaded games. I forgot any game, that I don't see in Steam. Also automatic updates to keep game up-to-date is fine.
But I will prefer something like central linux repository instead of many different clients. Flatpack FTW!

And GOG shows clearly that it won't stay optional as there are so-called wishes ignored from the community. A client for DRM-free downloads? People should better learn having their installations managed and it is easy under Linux, because there is no registry or component written if the user is following the normal concept of the HOME-folder. Simple unpack the downloaded data and overwrite the own, local folder. There is nothing more to do! I don't trust any client and I don't want a client having my local system managed. So GOG can keep this for their own! :)

Believing some nice lies from marketing? Better not. :D
By the way: They clearly have not much interest within Linux as they are treating customers and users of this system as second-class. The games Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light are not available until today for Linux (source for example. The thing is: They don't communicate with the users, even when writing a question to the support. It's always the same! And the client for MAC-OS was fast delivered after WINDOWS. But LINUX? Nothing seen for years now. And I should trust this platform? Good joke. They'll get money when having a DRM-free download / release for Linux, perhaps a classic or interesting game? But when this is not possible any longer, goodbye GOG.

It works well, I had no problems with bugs, but to be honest, Sandbox mode is quite boring and unless they finally come up with story mode, which was promised to be released Spring 2016, I can't recommend to buy it.

I definitely might pick this one up! I'm one of those weirdos who played the older Zelda games and enjoyed talking to people in the towns and completing their side quests more than the dungeon puzzles or combat. It's going to the top of my Steam wishlist for now!

Any discussion of Vulkan is good. We need to hear it talked about more and more. I want to see it adopted on PC as the standard going forward not DX12.

I've put in an hour or so into the game and am really liking the calm yet challenging nature of this game. The three-year-old also enjoys this game as well.

Linux gamers on Arch may want to hold off on updating due to openssl breaking some games (updated)

Don't really want to bother with work arounds.
Will hold off on upgrading for now.

I really enjoyed Near Death. I played it in the winter, so it was even more fun playing it at night with the temperature being <-20C outside, knowing that the conditions outside my house weren't that far off of what was happening in the game.

Quoting: Guest2) The letter 茶 is the title from a Nier: Automata subquest.

But what means "Made to Wade" in this context? Simplified Wade is the most common romanization system for writing Standard Mandarin Chinese. See:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simplified_Wade

But why do you assume that wade is a hint for 'simplified wade'?

Clearly "Made to Wade" isn't "Made to simplified wade"

Definition of Wade: intervene in (something) or attack (someone) vigorously or forcefully.

= Nier: Automata

Oh if this is Nier: Automata i would buy that day one.

FWIW while there's limited space for the talks, the beer festival is open to all afterwards!

The talks will be pretty hardcore dev focussed anyway (but will be uploaded afterwards), so if you're more interested in saying hi to devs then come on down to the festival instead.
