Offworld, A Good Looking Free Aerial Combat Game

I didn't manage to run it. It always produces:

There is no data folder

Did it actually work for you?

Legend of Grimrock 2 is official!

Quoting: CheesenessIf you buy it from the Humble Store widget on their site, you get Steam keys *and* a Linux build (best of both worlds). That's a way better offer than the USC, IMO.
Yes, you get a Steam key (like I did from HIB), but the developers haven't actually uploaded a Linux binary, so the game sits in your library, unable to be installed ("Not available for your platform.")

The shell file for LOG1 in HIB installs and runs just fine.

Ok this is the sort of present that those who grumbled about gifting of non-free games to debian/ubuntu devs should be impressed with! Way to go Valve!

Starbound Unstable Updates & Showing Off New Art For 'Outposts'
By s_d, 11 March 2014 at 9:27 pm UTC

Yeah, there were two "weathers" I encountered... rain & meteors. Nerfing the meteors made it pretty much rain or no rain :P

Oh, BTW... I know GOL has an MC server, but do you have a Starbound server? I'm not sure whether or not it's worth the time/money/effort, but it is a pretty ultra cool game, in my opinion. I wonder if there's enough interest in such a thing.

I know. But they could create linux launcher. Also Origin port is coming. not that anyone cares. BFBC2 multiplayer is much better than BF3 multiplayer and I still prefer crysis 2 over crysis 3.

It would have been surprising had they announced this before Kickstarter projects popped up indicating this was very much an inevitability. It's still exciting, though.

Quoting: Anonymousok, I'm not the brightest button, but does this mean any cry engine game can be ported over with little effort?
Well, not any game. It would need to be a game that was made with the ported versions so older games are unlikely.

I doubt many developers will "do a Valve" and port their really old games.

That is awesome news!

I would love to see a technical presentation on how they ported it, if they have a translation layer from D3D to OpenGL like Valve, what OpenGL extensions do they use, if they are planning to become a Khronos member along Valve, Epic and Unity. Too many questions.
