Quoting: BdMdesigNIs this true: http://www.desura.com/games/serious-sam-the-second-encounter ?

Has already bought one there and tried? Or is the Linux mark only a misunderstanding here?

I didn't look at the link but I have the first and second encounter as well as serious Sam 2 installed natively in Linux but not the newer hd versions. I'm really looking forward to this.

Neat, I've already played original 1&2 on ScummVM, but it's good to have them in my Steam library now. I wonder if they come around to porting the missing parts as well.

I agree, but annoyingly I was told I was being "pedantic" by another site owner who is also an award supporter.

Well there is a big difference being given a basically finished project with Arx source and building a new engine from scratch a la CaesarIA and OpenMW. If that is pedantic, then so be it. I think they are belittling the achievement that the OpenMW people have achieved thus far.

Not to say that the Arx Liberal is project isn't cool. I love Arx and am glad they printed it to Linux. They just didn't have to do much work themselves, that was Arkane.

Broken Sword 1 Directors Cut & 2:Remastered Now On Steam For Linux

Quoting: JoZ3Apparently when you buy in Humble Bundle 9 You also give the BS 1, I say this because in my Steam's game list linux appear BS 1 and BS 2.

??? No, only BS 2 you get in the last Humble Bundle: PC and Android 9. I say that, because i have the bundle. And there is no BS 1 in it.

So i have only BS 2 in my Steam list.

I'm guessing you bought the previous bundle that DrMcCoy mentioned, and that you're only just now seeing BS1 on Steam.

QuoteWhile Broken Sword 2 was already on Linux thanks to the most recent Humble Bundle, number 1 is now here too

Well, the first one was already on Linux as well, thanks to a previous Humble Bundle. It never appeared in the Humble Store, though, so you couldn't get the Linux version anymore afterwards.

QuoteWhat I do know is classics like this on Linux are important

The non-remastered classic versions of the games also still work perfectly fine with ScummVM. (The remastered versions use a different engine altogether, so not supported in ScummVM.)

Well, if anybody is interested in becoming an in game character in Dead Synchronicity, some of the fans made a facebook competition with an in game character as reward for the winner. ;)

You only have to post a conspiracy theory regarding the start od the "Great Wave" there and afterwards a poll with all theories will be made to choose the winner.
