Well, there is a patch available for SDL that allows audio control using multimedia keys or combination of Control-Alt-[QAZ]. Works for alsa only though as I avoid pulseaudio like the plague.

matter of taste i guess.
most boring game in the bundle for me.
Rochard so far seems the best... and unity engine works fine
currently playing Borderlands 2 and tomorrow Torchlight 2 unlocking..damn too much games at the same time :)
My test list so far:
Rochard - runs super good. can alt+tab, switch workspaces in fullscreen mode, pressing esc key to bring up menu ugrabs mouse so i can use my second monitor etc. this is how all games should be.. Unity engine seems nice.
Shatter - works fine but just not my type of game.
SPAZ - installs fine. 2 Fps in the menus. havent even tryed to lag beyond menu with that framerate.
Dustforce - works fine without issues
Torchlight - haven't tryed the native version yet, completed the game via wine without issues and TL2 preload is also waiting for release date.
Vessel - waiting for packages.
System Specs:
Processor:AMD Phenom II X4 955 , ~3.4GHz
Memory:8 GB DDR3 (1333Mhz)
Video Card:Asus Geforce 560 Ti 1GB Direct CU
Sound Card:Realtek ALC889
Motherboard:Gigabyte GA-970A-D3
Operating System:Linux Mint 13 Maya 64bit

Not really sure where the intervening comments have run off to, but I'd like to apologise to Rusty. My intention was to correct grammar, not twist words.

Excluding bonus games, the Frozen Synapse bundle didn't have any platformers (though it had the Frozenbyte Bundle included for people who contributed more than the average). If Aquaria doesn't count as a platformer, then the Voxatron Debut didn't have any platformers, and neither did the Botanicula Debut and Android #3.
So, whilst platformers do seem to have a lot of presence, there have still been a good number without.

Project Eternity may get a Linux version!
By , 19 September 2012 at 8:23 am UTC
Ideally, they would have separate campaigns to fund the ports, but all in all it's better to have everything happen in the same kickstarter.
By , 19 September 2012 at 8:23 am UTC
Quoting: "Anon, post: 5445"Seems to be more of a we want more money gig. They're doing the Mac version at 1.6 already, what do they need the other .6 for?You guys need to understand that they are not asking for 600k to do the Linux port, they simply have put it farther in their priorities list (their reasons is theirs). If you watch closely, you should see that their previous goals don't state "Taking vacations to be ready for the Linux port".
Quoting: "Rustybolts, post: 5451, member: 13"I also hate this trend for putting Linux conversions as a stretch goal on Kickstarter, they are acting as though we have to beg them for Linux games.I'm with you here, but they can't really do otherwise if they don't see supporting Linux as a priority for their game. (Which I can understand)

The rest of the bundle is once again full of platformers... It looks as if indie studios were trapped in a microscopic subset of creativity. How can they all do the same thing? Damn! There is so much to invent!

Well, a little too close to the last in my opinion, but it does look to be another good Bundle. Interesting to see Torchlight finally show up on our noble little platform.
Still, I can not help but notice that the Bundles do seem to cater too much to the platformer crowd though. Nothing wrong with these games, but there should be more than those being offered by the Indie gaming community. Has there been a single Indie Bundle without one? Have we not moved beyond the Braid hype?
Just a thought... again, not dissing the game (I have many found memories of platforming games). But getting stuck in a rut can be bad for everyone.

Well, it seems pretty obvious to me that this bundle was scheduled to coincide with Torchlight 2's release. It's entirely possible that the porter involved with Vessel just wasn't given the time needed to complete the work. Looking at the schedule, this is the closest that two Indie bundles have ever been together, and I was massively surprised to see one so close after #5 (which would be a pretty tough act to follow).
The Humble Visualisations are tracking stats for this bundle (as well as displaying previous ones). I'm also working on some new features that I'm hoping to give people a preview of as we get closer to the end of this bundle :)

Quoting: "Kame, post: 5460, member: 102"I'm guessing they must have discovered some super bugs in the Linux/Mac builds of Vessel just before the HIB launched, can't see any other reason they'd be late like that.

By Cheeseness, 18 September 2012 at 9:07 pm UTC
Even this is inaccurate since the blog clearly states that other distros will be officially supported.

Quoting: "Anon, post: 5437"Actually, it was made up by people who where claiming Steam is a bad thing or non-Ubuntu news sites. OMGUbuntu, Ubuntu Vibes, WebUpd8 all said it will be only available officially on Ubuntu. They never said "Only on Ubuntu!", just "Only supported officially on Ubuntu."
